Pricing: https://letl.ink/pricing. Letlink is a link shortener with click analytics. You paste a destination URL, get a short link on letl.ink or on your own domain, and every click that follows is recorded and broken down by country, device, browser, operating system, referrer and campaign. A link shortener, or URL shortener, turns a long web address into a short link that redirects to the original. Modern link shorteners such as Letlink also let you put your own domain in the link, record every click, change the destination after sharing, and send each visitor to a different place depending on their device. **Key facts about Letlink** - Website: https://letl.ink — short links run on letl.ink or on your own domain. New accounts can try it free for 7 days without a card. Adds n8n, the MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT, every integration, and no click or history limits. - On every plan, including Free: split testing, country, device, browser, referrer and UTM analytics, CSV export, bot blocking, links that never expire. - Data recorded per click: Every recorded click stores the time of the visit, country, device type, brand and model, operating system, browser, referrer, the UTM parameters on the link, and which split-test variation was served. Letlink also derives unique visitors, returning visitors, traffic channel, and the hour and weekday the traffic arrives. - Link types: Standard URL, Link with UTM, App Store URL, Instagram Profile, Mobile Platform-Aware, Device-Aware (Desktop/Mobile). Standard and UTM links are on every plan; the smart types (App Store, Instagram, mobile platform-aware, device-aware) need Solo, Growth or Ultimate. - Device routing: Yes. App Store links route iOS visitors to the App Store and Android visitors to Google Play, device-aware links split desktop and mobile, and each branch reports separately in analytics. The rule is evaluated on the redirect itself, so the visitor never sees an interstitial. - Split testing: A single short link can hold up to eight weighted destinations. Traffic is divided according to the weights you set, every click is tagged with the variation that was served, and the results panel reports each destination's actual share of traffic against the share you allocated it — so you see drift rather than a restatement of your own weights. - Country rules: Yes, on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans. A country access rule either blocks the countries you list or lets in only the countries you list, for the whole workspace or for a single link, and applies to QR code scans too. Blocked visitors see a short “not available in your region” page or go to a fallback URL you choose, and are not counted as clicks. Detection is based on the visitor's IP address, so a VPN can get around it. - Custom domains: Yes. Add a CNAME record pointing at custom.letl.ink and verify it from the dashboard. The SSL certificate is issued and renewed automatically. Custom domains are included on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans: Solo includes one, Growth three and Ultimate fifty. - QR codes: Yes. A QR code generated for a link resolves through its own path, so scans are recorded as clicks tagged with the qr variation. You can see scan counts separately from ordinary clicks, and customise the code's colours and logo. - Editable destinations: Yes. Edit the destination at any time from the dashboard or the API and the short link stays the same, which is what makes printed links and QR codes safe to reuse. Letlink redirects with a temporary (302) status, so browsers do not cache the old destination. - Link expiry: No. Letlink short links keep redirecting until you archive or delete them, on every plan including Free. Going over a monthly tracked-click allowance only pauses click recording until the next month; the redirect itself is never switched off. - Click caps: A tracked click is one recorded visit to one of your links. Bots and crawlers are never counted. By default the workspace also refuses them, so they never reach the destination — you can turn Block bots off on Country access if you want chat-app previews. If you pass your monthly allowance the redirect keeps working exactly as before — new clicks simply stop being recorded until the next billing month. - History: Retention depends on the plan: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Solo, a full year on Growth and unlimited on Ultimate. Clicks older than your retention window are purged, and CSV exports and API date ranges are clamped to the window your plan keeps. - API, webhooks and MCP: Yes. The REST API covers full link CRUD, bulk creation, workspace and per-link analytics, visit feeds, domains and webhooks, with pagination and rate-limit headers on every response. There are also webhooks that fire on each click, and an MCP server so Claude and ChatGPT can query and create links directly. The API is available on the Growth and Ultimate plans. - Integrations (21 in the integrations directory): - Analytics & attribution: Google Analytics 4 — Server-side link_click events via the Measurement Protocol (Available on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans); Meta Conversions API — Send server-side conversions to Meta Ads for better attribution (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); Segment — Fan clicks out to every destination in your Segment workspace (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); Mixpanel — Track link clicks as Mixpanel events with full device context (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); PostHog — Capture clicks in PostHog, cloud or self-hosted (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); Amplitude — Stream clicks into Amplitude for funnel and cohort analysis (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); Plausible — Record clicks as privacy-friendly Plausible custom events (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); Matomo — Send clicks to your own Matomo instance via the Tracking API (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans) - Notifications: Slack — Post a message to a Slack channel when a link is opened (Available on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans); Discord — Announce clicks in a Discord channel via an incoming webhook (Available on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans); Microsoft Teams — Send click cards into a Microsoft Teams channel (Available on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans); Google Chat — Drop click notifications into a Google Chat space (Available on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans); Telegram — Get click alerts from a Telegram bot in any chat or channel (Available on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans) - Automation: Zapier — Connect to 6,000+ apps without writing any code (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); Make — Build visual click-driven scenarios in Make (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); n8n — Self-hosted workflows via webhooks, HTTP nodes or MCP (Available on the Ultimate plan); Pipedream — Run code steps on every click with a hosted workflow (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans) - Developer platform: Custom domains — Serve short links on your own branded hostname with automatic SSL (Available on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans); REST API — Create, read and report on links from your own code (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); Webhooks — POST a JSON payload to your endpoint on every tracked click (Available on the Growth and Ultimate plans); MCP server — Let Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients work with your links (Available on the Ultimate plan) - Teams: Yes. Invite people into a shared workspace where links, domains and analytics are shared. Roles decide who can create links, who can manage domains and API keys, and who can only read. - Bots: Yes. Block bots is on by default on every plan, including Free. Crawlers and common bots are refused instead of being sent to the destination. Turn it off on Country access if you need previews in chat apps such as Slack or WhatsApp. Either way, bots are never counted as tracked clicks. - Security and privacy: two-factor authentication on every account, HTTPS on every link and custom domain, bots refused by default, a content-safety check on short codes and destinations, and visitor data never sold or used to build advertising profiles. - Free trial: new accounts that pick Solo, Growth or Ultimate get 7 days free without a card; the Free plan has no time limit. - Free tool: a free QR code generator at https://letl.ink/free-qr-code-generator — no account, no watermark, static codes that never expire. - What Letlink is not: a website builder, a bio page or an advertising network. It does not put interstitial pages in front of destinations. - Compared with Bitly, Rebrandly, Dub, Short.io and TinyURL: see the comparison pages below; every competitor figure there is read off that vendor's own pricing page on the date shown. **What Letlink does** (feature list): - Branded short links on your own custom domain with automatic SSL - Real-time click analytics: country, device, brand, browser, operating system and referrer - Unique visitor and returning visitor counts - Hour-of-day and day-of-week traffic patterns - Weighted split testing across up to eight destinations, on every plan - Device-aware and platform-aware redirect rules (iOS, Android, desktop) - App Store, Instagram, mobile platform-aware and device-aware smart link types - Destinations editable after sharing; links never expire - Country blocklists and allowlists for short links and QR codes - Bot and crawler blocking, on by default - Trackable QR codes with scans counted separately - UTM parameter tagging and reporting - CSV export of click data - Shared team workspaces with owner, admin and member roles - Two-factor authentication - REST API with bulk link creation, webhooks and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT - Click delivery to Google Analytics 4, Meta Conversions API, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, Plausible and Matomo - Click notifications in Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and Telegram - Automation with Zapier, Make, n8n and Pipedream - Interface in 22 languages ## Plans and pricing Source: https://letl.ink/pricing. Letlink is a link shortener with click analytics. You paste a destination URL, get a short link on letl.ink or on your own domain, and every click that follows is recorded and broken down by country, device, browser, operating system, referrer and campaign. #### What is a link shortener? A link shortener, or URL shortener, turns a long web address into a short link that redirects to the original. Modern link shorteners such as Letlink also let you put your own domain in the link, record every click, change the destination after sharing, and send each visitor to a different place depending on their device. #### How do I shorten a link? Create a free Letlink account, paste the long URL into the link builder, optionally pick a custom back-half and your own domain, and save. The short link works immediately, and every click on it is tracked from that moment. The free plan needs no credit card. #### What is the best link shortener? The best link shortener depends on what the links need to do. If you want every click tracked, links on your own domain, iOS and Android visitors routed differently and split tests behind one link without enterprise pricing, Letlink does all of it: split testing and country analytics on every plan including Free, and paid plans from $3.90 a month. Its comparison pages set it side by side with Bitly, Rebrandly, Dub, Short.io and TinyURL. #### Do Letlink short links expire? No. Letlink short links keep redirecting until you archive or delete them, on every plan including Free. Going over a monthly tracked-click allowance only pauses click recording until the next month; the redirect itself is never switched off. #### Can I change where a short link goes after sharing it? Yes. Edit the destination at any time from the dashboard or the API and the short link stays the same, which is what makes printed links and QR codes safe to reuse. Letlink redirects with a temporary (302) status, so browsers do not cache the old destination. #### What data is recorded on each click? Every recorded click stores the time of the visit, country, device type, brand and model, operating system, browser, referrer, the UTM parameters on the link, and which split-test variation was served. Letlink also derives unique visitors, returning visitors, traffic channel, and the hour and weekday the traffic arrives. #### Can I use my own domain for short links? Yes. Add a CNAME record pointing at custom.letl.ink and verify it from the dashboard. The SSL certificate is issued and renewed automatically. Custom domains are included on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans: Solo includes one, Growth three and Ultimate fifty. #### Can one short link send iOS and Android users to different places? Yes. App Store links route iOS visitors to the App Store and Android visitors to Google Play, device-aware links split desktop and mobile, and each branch reports separately in analytics. The rule is evaluated on the redirect itself, so the visitor never sees an interstitial. #### How does split testing work? A single short link can hold up to eight weighted destinations. Traffic is divided according to the weights you set, every click is tagged with the variation that was served, and the results panel reports each destination's actual share of traffic against the share you allocated it — so you see drift rather than a restatement of your own weights. #### Does Letlink have an API? Yes. #### Which tools does Letlink integrate with? Letlink delivers clicks server-side to Google Analytics 4, Meta Conversions API, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, Plausible and Matomo; posts notifications to Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and Telegram; and drives automations through Zapier, Make, n8n and Pipedream, plus raw webhooks and the REST API. #### Can my team work in the same account? Yes. Invite people into a shared workspace where links, domains and analytics are shared. Roles decide who can create links, who can manage domains and API keys, and who can only read. #### Do I need a credit card to start? No. The free plan needs no card and has no trial clock: 1,000 tracked links, 1,000 tracked clicks a month and 7 days of click history, with device, browser, referrer, country and UTM analytics on all of them. #### Are QR codes tracked? Yes. A QR code generated for a link resolves through its own path, so scans are recorded as clicks tagged with the qr variation. You can see scan counts separately from ordinary clicks, and customise the code's colours and logo. #### Can I block bots from following my links? Yes. Block bots is on by default on every plan, including Free. Crawlers and common bots are refused instead of being sent to the destination. Turn it off on Country access if you need previews in chat apps such as Slack or WhatsApp. Either way, bots are never counted as tracked clicks. ### Pricing and plans (https://letl.ink/pricing#pricing-faq) #### What does a tracked click mean? A tracked click is one recorded visit to one of your links. #### How much does paying yearly save? Paying yearly takes 20% off the monthly price. Solo works out at $3.12 a month ($37.44 a year), Growth at $7.12 ($85.44), and Ultimate at $31.92 ($383.04). #### Is the free plan really free? Yes — no card and no trial clock. The free plan includes 1,000 tracked links, 1,000 tracked clicks a month and 7 days of history, with UTM, device, browser, referrer and country analytics on every one of them. #### Which plans include country analytics? Every plan, including Free. Each click records device, brand, browser, operating system, referrer, campaign, variation and where it came from. #### Can I block or allow visitors by country? Yes, on the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans. #### When can I use my own domain? On the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans. Point a CNAME at custom.letl.ink and verify it from the dashboard; the certificate is issued and renewed for you. Solo runs one domain, Growth three and Ultimate fifty. #### What do I need for the API and integrations? Google Analytics 4 and the notification integrations (Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Telegram) are included from the Solo plan. The REST API, webhooks and the remaining integrations — Meta Conversions API, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, Plausible, Matomo, Zapier, Make and Pipedream — need Growth or Ultimate. Ultimate also adds n8n and the MCP server, so Claude and ChatGPT can query your link data directly. #### How long is click history kept? Retention depends on the plan: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Solo, a full year on Growth and unlimited on Ultimate. Clicks older than your retention window are purged, and CSV exports and API date ranges are clamped to the window your plan keeps. #### Can I change or cancel my plan later? Yes, at any time from the Billing page. Cancelling stops the renewal and the plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Every invoice is downloadable as a PDF from the same page. ### Free QR code generator (https://letl.ink/free-qr-code-generator#faq) #### Is this QR code generator really free? Yes. Every feature — logo, colors, gradients, dot and corner shapes, frames, SVG and high-resolution PNG downloads — is free, with no sign-up, no watermark, no trial and no scan limit. The only limit is on speed: each visitor can create 5 new codes a minute, which keeps the tool fast for everyone. #### Do the QR codes expire? No. Codes made here are static: the web address, Wi-Fi password or contact details are written into the pattern itself, with no server in between that could be switched off. A printed code keeps working for as long as the destination it points to exists. #### Do I need to create an account or log in? No. Open the page, enter your content, design the code and download it. Nothing is tied to an account, and the content of your code is not saved. #### Can I add my logo to a QR code? Yes. Upload a PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG logo and set its size and padding; the modules behind it are cleared so it sits cleanly in the middle. The logo is drawn in your browser and never uploaded. With a logo, use error correction level H — the Auto setting does this for you — and keep the logo under about 30% of the code's width. #### What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code? A static QR code stores its content directly in the pattern: it is free and permanent, but it cannot be edited after printing and its scans cannot be counted. A dynamic QR code stores a short redirect link instead, so you can change the destination at any time and see every scan. This page makes static codes; a free Letlink account makes dynamic, trackable ones — the Free plan includes 3. #### Which file format should I download? Use SVG for print and anything that will be resized — it is a vector and stays sharp at any size. Use PNG for websites, documents and slides (it supports a transparent background), JPEG where transparency is not supported, and WebP for the smallest web files. Raster downloads go up to 4096 × 4096 pixels. #### How big should a printed QR code be? At least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in) for anything scanned up close, and larger the farther away people stand: make the code about one tenth as wide as the scanning distance. A poster read from 2 metres needs a code about 20 cm wide. Codes that hold a lot of content are denser and need more room still. #### Why is my QR code not scanning? The usual causes are low contrast between the code and its background, light modules on a dark background, a logo that covers too much of the pattern, no quiet zone (margin) around the code, or printing it too small. Keep the code dark on light, leave a margin, use error correction Q or H with a logo, and test with several phones before printing. #### Which error correction level should I choose? M (restores about 15% damage) suits most codes and is the default. Choose Q (25%) or H (30%) when the code carries a logo or will be printed where it can get scratched or dirty; choose L (7%) only to keep a very long code small. Higher levels make the pattern denser. #### Can I use these QR codes commercially? Yes. The codes you create here are yours to put on packaging, menus, business cards, flyers, adverts, signage and products, with no attribution, license fee or royalty. #### How many QR codes can I create? As many as you need. To keep the free tool fast and stop automated abuse, each visitor can generate up to 5 codes a minute, and the first generation asks you to confirm you are not a robot. Changing the colors, shapes, logo or frame of a code you have already generated does not count. #### How do I make a Wi-Fi QR code? Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name (SSID), the password and the security type — WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP or none — and generate. Guests scan it with the iPhone or Android camera and join without typing the password. The password is stored in the code itself, so only display it where you would share the password. #### Is my data private? Your content is sent to the server only to be encoded and is not stored, and your logo and styling never leave your browser. The server keeps a short-lived per-minute counter for your IP address to enforce the limit, and Google reCAPTCHA checks the first generation for bots. #### Do these QR codes track scans? No, by design: a static code opens its destination directly with no redirect, so nobody — Letlink included — sees who scanned it. To count scans by country, device and time of day, create a dynamic QR code in a free Letlink account instead. #### How much data can a QR code hold? At its largest size (version 40, 177 × 177 modules) a QR code holds up to 7,089 digits, 4,296 alphanumeric characters or 2,953 bytes. This generator accepts up to 2,000 bytes; shorter content makes a less dense code that scans faster and can be printed smaller. ## Link shortener solutions ### Business link shortener for companies and teams URL: https://letl.ink/business-link-shortener A business link shortener runs short links on the company’s own domain, lets several people manage them in one account with roles, and keeps click data for reporting. Letlink does all three: branded domains with automatic SSL, shared workspaces with owner, admin and member roles for up to 50 people, click history kept up to indefinitely, plus a REST API, webhooks and 21 integrations — from $8.90 a month for a team of five. Letlink is a corporate URL shortener that puts every short link on your company’s own domain, gives your team one shared workspace with roles, and records every click in full — so marketing, sales and support share links customers trust and can report on what they did. - Team seats: 5 on Growth, 50 on Ultimate - Company domains: 3 on Growth, 50 on Ultimate - Tracked clicks: 100,000 a month on Growth, unlimited on Ultimate - Click history: 1 year on Growth, unlimited on Ultimate - Price: From $8.90 a month, 20% off yearly #### What a company needs from a link shortener - **Links on your company domain** — Point one CNAME record at custom.letl.ink and short links resolve on go.yourcompany.com. Certificates are issued and renewed automatically, and Ultimate runs up to 50 domains side by side. - **Shared workspaces with roles** — The owner holds the plan and invites people. Admins manage domains, API tokens and integrations. Members create and edit their own links. Everyone sees the same links and the same numbers. - **Account and link security** — Two-factor authentication on every account, HTTPS on every link and domain, bots blocked by default, and a content-safety check that refuses phishing-style short codes and blocked destinations. - **Country access rules** — Block or allow visitors by country for the whole workspace or a single link, with a fallback URL for anyone turned away — for licensing, compliance and regional campaigns. - **Reporting a manager can use** — Clicks by country, device, browser, referrer, campaign and hour of day, CSV export on every plan, and history kept for a year on Growth or indefinitely on Ultimate. - **API, webhooks and integrations** — Create links in bulk from your own systems, receive a webhook on every click, and deliver clicks to GA4, Meta Conversions API, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, Slack and Microsoft Teams. - **One link for every device** — A single link on a poster, invoice or package sends iPhones to the App Store, Android phones to Google Play and desktops to your website. - **Split tests behind one link** — Test up to eight landing pages behind one short code with weighted traffic, and see each destination’s real share of clicks. #### How companies use it - **Marketing teams** — One company domain for every campaign, consistent UTM tags, and a clear answer to which channel carried the launch. - **Sales and customer success** — Trackable links in proposals, onboarding emails and follow-ups that show when and where a link was opened. - **Agencies** — A branded domain for each client brand and a separate workspace per client, with teammates invited on the role they need. - **Print, packaging and events** — Short links and QR codes on printed material that you can point somewhere new after the print run, with scans counted on their own. - **Product and engineering** — Links minted from your own app through the REST API, and click events streamed to your warehouse through webhooks or Segment. #### How to set up a link shortener for your company 1. **Create the workspace** — Sign up free and name the workspace after your company. Move to Growth or Ultimate when you are ready to add people. 2. **Connect your domain** — Create a CNAME record for a subdomain such as go.yourcompany.com pointing at custom.letl.ink, then verify it from the dashboard. SSL is issued automatically. 3. **Invite your team** — Invite colleagues by email as admins or members. Each pending invitation holds a seat until it is accepted. 4. **Connect your stack** — Turn on GA4, Slack or Microsoft Teams, or create an API token and create links from your own systems. #### Questions **What is a business link shortener?** A business link shortener is a URL shortener built for companies: short links run on the company’s own domain instead of a shared one, several people manage links in one account with roles, and every click is recorded for reporting. Letlink adds device-aware routing, split testing, a REST API, webhooks and 21 integrations on top. **Which Letlink plan is right for a company?** Growth, at $8.90 a month, suits a team of up to 5 people: 8,000 links, 100,000 tracked clicks a month, 3 company domains, a year of click history, the REST API and webhooks. Ultimate, at $39.90 a month, is for larger teams: 50 people, 15,000 links, unlimited tracked clicks and history, 50 domains and the MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT. Paying yearly takes 20% off either plan. **Can we use our company domain for short links?** Yes. Create a CNAME record for a subdomain such as go.yourcompany.com pointing at custom.letl.ink and verify it from the dashboard. The SSL certificate is issued and renewed automatically. Solo includes 1 custom domain, Growth 3 and Ultimate 50. **How do roles and permissions work?** Every workspace has one owner, who holds the plan and is the only one who can invite, promote or remove people. Admins can manage custom domains, country access, bot blocking, API tokens, webhooks and integrations, and archive anyone’s link. Members create and edit their own links. Links, domains and analytics are shared across the workspace. **Is Letlink secure enough for corporate use?** Every account can turn on two-factor authentication, every link and custom domain is served over HTTPS, bots and crawlers are refused by default, and short codes and destinations pass a content-safety check that blocks phishing-style links. Visitor data is never sold or used to build advertising profiles. **Can we create short links in bulk?** Yes. The REST API on Growth and Ultimate supports bulk link creation, full link CRUD, analytics and visit feeds, with pagination and rate-limit headers on every response. Zapier, Make and Pipedream can also create links from other tools without code, and Ultimate adds n8n and the MCP server. **What happens if we go over our monthly click allowance?** Every link keeps redirecting. Past the monthly tracked-click allowance Letlink stops recording new clicks until the next calendar month, so visitors never see an error. Ultimate has no monthly click cap. ### Branded link shortener for short links on your own domain URL: https://letl.ink/branded-link-shortener A branded link shortener puts your own domain in front of every short link, so people see who sent it before they click. With Letlink you point a CNAME record at custom.letl.ink, verify it, and new links resolve on your domain with an SSL certificate issued automatically. Custom domains start on the Solo plan at $3.90 a month; Growth runs 3 domains and Ultimate 50. Letlink is a branded link shortener that turns long URLs into short links on a domain you own — go.yourbrand.com/spring instead of a generic shortener domain — with SSL, custom back-halves and click analytics included. - Setup: One CNAME record - SSL certificate: Issued and renewed automatically - Domains: 1 on Solo, 3 on Growth, 50 on Ultimate - Back-half: Any short code you choose - Price: From $3.90 a month #### Why brand your short links - **Trust before the click** — A link that shows your own name is one people recognise in an inbox, a text message or a social caption, instead of a random string on a domain they have never seen. - **Custom back-halves** — Choose the path after the slash — /spring, /demo, /menu — so the link says where it goes and is easy to read aloud or type from print. - **Automatic SSL** — Certificates for your domain are issued and renewed without you touching them, so every branded link is served over HTTPS. - **Several brands, one account** — Run 3 domains on Growth or 50 on Ultimate side by side, and pick which domain each link uses. - **Change the destination later** — Edit where a branded link points after it has been printed or published. The link your audience already has stays the same. - **Every click recorded** — Each click on a branded link records country, device, browser, operating system, referrer and UTM parameters. - **Routing by device** — Send iPhones to the App Store, Android phones to Google Play and desktops to your site, all from one branded link. - **Trackable QR codes** — Generate a QR code for a link in your own colours and with your logo; scans are counted separately from ordinary clicks. #### Where branded links pay off - **Social bios and captions** — A short link with your name on it reads as part of the brand, not as a detour through someone else’s domain. - **Email and text messages** — Recipients and filters see a domain you own. Shared shortener domains are the ones spammers use most, and some filters treat them with suspicion. - **Print, packaging and signage** — A short, readable back-half is easy to type from a flyer or a box, and the destination can change after the print run. - **Podcasts, video and radio** — yourbrand.com/show is a link people can remember after hearing it once. #### How to create a branded short link 1. **Pick a subdomain** — Choose a short subdomain of a domain you already own, such as go.yourbrand.com or link.yourbrand.com. A subdomain leaves your main website and email untouched. 2. **Add a CNAME record** — At your DNS provider, create a CNAME record for that subdomain pointing at custom.letl.ink. 3. **Verify the domain** — Add the domain in Letlink and verify it. The SSL certificate is issued automatically once the DNS record resolves. 4. **Create the link** — Paste the destination URL, choose your domain and type the back-half you want. The branded short link works straight away. #### Questions **What is a branded link shortener?** A branded link shortener is a URL shortener that creates short links on your own domain — go.yourbrand.com/offer instead of a generic shortener domain. The link shows who it comes from, can use a readable back-half, and still records every click. Letlink supports branded domains from the Solo plan at $3.90 a month. **Do I need to buy a new domain?** No. Most teams use a subdomain of the domain they already own, such as go.yourbrand.com, which leaves the main website and email untouched. If you prefer a separate short domain, register one and use a subdomain of it the same way. **How long does a custom domain take to set up?** Adding the CNAME record takes a minute. Once the record resolves — usually within minutes, occasionally a few hours depending on your DNS provider — you verify it in Letlink and the SSL certificate is issued automatically, typically within a few minutes. **Are branded short links better than generic ones?** For anything sent to customers, usually yes. A branded link tells people who sent it before they click, can carry a readable back-half such as /spring, and avoids the shared shortener domains that spammers also use. The click analytics and routing are the same either way. **Can I change a branded link after sharing it?** Yes. You can edit a link’s destination at any time from the dashboard or the API while the short link stays the same. Letlink redirects with a temporary (302) status, so browsers do not cache the old destination. **Which plan includes custom domains?** Custom domains are included from the Solo plan: Solo runs 1 domain at $3.90 a month, Growth 3 at $8.90 and Ultimate 50 at $39.90. The free plan uses short links on letl.ink. ### Link shortener with analytics that records the whole click URL: https://letl.ink/link-shortener-with-analytics A link shortener with analytics records data about each click on a short link before redirecting the visitor. Letlink captures the time, country, device type, brand and model, operating system, browser, referrer, UTM parameters and split-test variation of every click, works out unique and returning visitors and hour-of-day patterns, and leaves bots out of the count — on every plan, including the free one. Letlink is a URL shortener with built-in click tracking. Every time someone opens one of your short links, it records where they are, which device and browser they use, where they came from and which campaign sent them — and shows it in a live dashboard. - Recorded per click: Time, country, device, brand, model, OS, browser, referrer, UTM, variation - Free plan: 1,000 tracked clicks a month, no card - Bots: Never counted as clicks - Export: CSV on every plan, REST API from Growth - Integrations: GA4, Meta, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog and 16 more #### What Letlink tracks on every click - **Where** — Country for every visit, with top-country breakdowns and a map, so you see which markets a campaign reached. - **On what** — Device type, brand and model, operating system and browser, parsed from each visit automatically. - **From where** — The referring site and traffic channel, so a click from Instagram, a newsletter or a search result is labelled as such. - **Which campaign** — UTM source, medium and campaign on every link, reported side by side so channels can be compared on the same terms. - **Who is new** — Unique and returning visitors worked out per link, so ten clicks from one person are not reported as ten people. - **When** — Real-time click counts, daily trends, and hour-of-day and day-of-week patterns that show when your audience actually clicks. - **Which version** — The split-test variation served on every click, with each destination’s real share of traffic against the share you set. - **Scan or click** — QR code scans are recorded as their own variation, so print and on-screen traffic stay separate. #### Get the data wherever you report - **CSV export** — Download clicks for one link or the whole workspace on every plan, ready for a spreadsheet. - **Google Analytics 4** — Send each click to GA4 server-side from the Solo plan, so short-link traffic appears next to the rest of your site. - **Webhooks and the REST API** — Receive an event on every click and pull analytics and visit feeds by API on Growth and Ultimate. - **Product analytics and ads** — Deliver clicks to Meta Conversions API, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, Plausible or Matomo. - **Claude and ChatGPT** — Ask questions about your link data in plain language through the Letlink MCP server on Ultimate. #### How to track clicks on a link 1. **Create a free account** — Sign up for Letlink — no credit card. The free plan tracks 1,000 links and 1,000 clicks a month. 2. **Shorten the URL** — Paste the long URL into the link builder, choose a short code and add UTM source, medium and campaign if you want campaign reporting. 3. **Share the short link** — Use the short link wherever you would have used the long one — email, social posts, ads, print or a QR code. 4. **Open the analytics** — Open the link in the dashboard to see clicks arrive in real time, broken down by country, device, browser, referrer and campaign. #### Questions **How do I track clicks on a link?** Shorten it with a link shortener that records analytics, then share the short link instead of the original. With Letlink, paste the URL into the link builder, share the short link it gives you, and every click appears in the dashboard with its country, device, browser, referrer and campaign. The free plan covers 1,000 links and 1,000 tracked clicks a month. **What data does a link tracker collect?** Letlink records the time of each click, country, device type, brand and model, operating system, browser, referrer, the UTM parameters on the link and the split-test variation served. From those it works out unique and returning visitors, traffic channel, and the hour and weekday traffic arrives. **Are bot clicks counted?** No. Bots and crawlers are never counted as tracked clicks. By default they are also refused before reaching the destination, on every plan; you can turn Block bots off if you want link previews in chat apps. **Can I see who clicked my link?** You see what clicked, not who: location, device, browser, referrer and campaign for each visit, plus unique visitor counts. Letlink does not identify individual people, build advertising profiles or sell visitor data. **Can I send link clicks to Google Analytics 4?** Yes, from the Solo plan. Letlink sends each recorded click to GA4 server-side, so it arrives even when the visitor blocks scripts. Growth and Ultimate add Meta Conversions API, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, Plausible, Matomo and webhooks. **How long is click data kept?** Click history is kept for 7 days on Free, 30 days on Solo, a year on Growth and indefinitely on Ultimate. Clicks older than the window are deleted, and CSV exports and API date ranges follow the same window. **Is link tracking free?** Yes. The Letlink free plan needs no credit card and has no trial clock: 1,000 tracked links, 1,000 tracked clicks a month and 7 days of history, with country, device, browser, referrer and UTM analytics on all of them. Paid plans start at $3.90 a month. ## Free QR Code Generator URL: https://letl.ink/free-qr-code-generator - Price: Free - Sign-up: Not required - Watermark: None - Expiry: Never — static codes - Scan limit: Unlimited - Formats: PNG, SVG, JPEG, WebP - Max resolution: 4096 × 4096 px - Content types: 10 ### Features - Free with no sign-up, no login and no watermark - Static QR codes that never expire and scan an unlimited number of times - Website URL, text, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi, vCard contact, map location and calendar event QR codes - Solid and linear or radial gradient colors, transparent background - Nine dot shapes, five corner frame shapes and five corner center shapes, each colorable separately - Logo upload (PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG) processed in the browser, never uploaded - Frames with a custom call to action such as "Scan me" - L, M, Q and H error correction levels - PNG, JPEG and WebP downloads up to 4096 × 4096 pixels, and SVG vector download - Contrast and logo-size checks that warn before a code becomes hard to scan ### QR code types - **Website URL QR code** — Opens a web page in the phone's browser. Restyling a generated code is instant and does not count. 4. **Download and test** — Download a PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 4096 pixels, or an SVG vector for print, then scan it with two or three different phones before you print or publish it. ## Help Center ### Getting started Create an account, shorten a first link, and understand what each plan includes. #### What is Letlink? URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/what-is-letlink A URL shortener that records every click and routes people to the right destination. Letlink is a link management platform. You turn a long destination into a short, shareable URL, then see who clicked it — device, browser, operating system, referrer, campaign tags, and country. ##### What you can do - Shorten standard and UTM-tagged URLs on every plan. - Route one short code to App Store, Instagram, iOS/Android, or desktop vs mobile destinations on Solo, Growth and Ultimate. - Run weighted split tests on standard and UTM links, on every plan. - Attach a QR code that counts scans separately from regular clicks. - Serve branded links from your own domain on Solo, Growth and Ultimate. - Block or allow visitors by country, for the whole workspace or one link, on Solo, Growth and Ultimate. - Send click events to your own systems via the REST API, webhooks, Zapier, GA4, Slack, n8n, or an MCP server — depending on plan. ##### Where work lives Every account belongs to a **workspace**. Links, clicks, domains, QR codes, and integrations are scoped to that workspace. If you invite teammates, they share the owner's plan limits — not a separate quota each. > **Note:** The redirect itself is never blocked when you hit a monthly click cap. Extra visits still land on the destination; they are simply not recorded until the next calendar month. ##### What it is not Letlink is not a website builder, a bio page, or an advertising network. It does not insert interstitial pages in front of your destination. A click goes to the URL you configured, as fast as DNS and TLS allow. #### Create an account URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/create-an-account Sign up, confirm your email, and land in a workspace ready for your first link. Open letl.ink, choose **Get started**, and register with an email address and password. A workspace is created for you automatically. You are its owner. ##### Email confirmation Check your inbox for a confirmation message and follow the link. Until the address is confirmed, some account actions stay locked. If the message is missing, look in spam, then use the resend option on the login screen. ##### Invited to a workspace? If someone sent you an invitation, the email contains a link that either creates a new account in their workspace or adds your existing account as a member. You do not get a second workspace from an invite — you join theirs. ##### Signing in later 1. Go to https://letl.ink/login. 2. Enter the same email and password. 3. If you enabled two-factor authentication, enter the code from your authenticator app (or a backup code). > **Tip:** Turn on [two-factor authentication](https://letl.ink/help-center/two-factor-authentication) from Settings → Security as soon as you start sharing links publicly. A stolen password is enough to regenerate API tokens and rewrite destinations. #### Create your first link URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/create-a-link Shorten a URL, pick a back-half, copy it, and confirm the redirect works. From the dashboard, open **Create link**. The Free plan can store 1,000 active links. Archiving or deleting a link frees a slot. ##### The minimum you need 1. Choose **Standard URL** (or **Link with UTM** if you already have campaign tags). 2. Paste the destination. It must be a public `https://` URL Letlink is allowed to redirect to. 3. Leave the short code blank to get a random back-half, or type your own (letters, numbers, hyphens). 4. Optionally set a title — it only appears in your dashboard, not to visitors. 5. Save. Copy the short URL and open it in a private window to confirm it lands on the destination. **Block bots** is on by default for the whole workspace (**Country access**), so a crawler will not follow the link — a normal browser will. ##### Custom back-halves A short code like `summer` becomes `https://letl.ink/summer`. Codes that collide with product paths (`login`, `pricing`, `help`, …) are reserved. Offensive or impersonation-style codes are rejected by content safety checks. ##### After it is live - Clicks show up on the dashboard and on the link's stats page. - You can edit the destination later without changing the short URL. - Star the link to pin it under Favorites. - Attach a QR code if you need a printable version — scans use `/q/…` and are tagged as `qr`. > **Warn:** Metered plans also have a daily creation throttle (10 new links per day). That is separate from the plan's stored-link cap. Ultimate is exempt. #### Plans and limits URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/plans-and-limits What Free, Solo, Growth, and Ultimate include — links, clicks, domains, QR codes, retention, and feature gates. Limits are enforced on the **workspace**, using the owner's plan. Members do not get their own quota. Full current prices live on the [pricing page](https://letl.ink/pricing). ##### Quotas | | Free | Solo | Growth | Ultimate | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Active links | 5 | 20 | 200 | 500 | | Tracked clicks / month | 1,000 | 5,000 | 100,000 | Unlimited | | Custom domains | — | 1 | 3 | 50 | | QR codes | 3 | 10 | 30 | 100 | | Team members (owner included) | 1 | 1 | 5 | 50 | | Click history | 7 days | 30 days | 365 days | Unlimited | ##### Feature gates - **Every plan:** standard and UTM links, split tests, analytics (device, browser, OS, referrer, country), CSV export, [block bots](https://letl.ink/help-center/archive-favorites-visit-limits) (on by default), per-device visit limits, favorites, archive. - **Solo, Growth and Ultimate:** App Store, Instagram, mobile, and device-aware link types; [country blocking and allowlists](https://letl.ink/help-center/country-access); Google Analytics 4 and notification integrations (Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Telegram). - **Growth and Ultimate:** REST API, webhooks, Zapier, and the remaining analytics/automation integrations. - **Ultimate:** n8n setup, remote MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, and n8n. ##### What happens at a cap If you are at the **link** cap, new links are refused until you archive or delete one, or upgrade. If you are at the **monthly click** cap, visitors are still redirected; Letlink stops writing new click rows until the next calendar month. Webhooks, GA4, and Slack only fire for clicks that were recorded. > **Note:** Geographic data is stored for every recorded click and shown in the dashboard, API, MCP, and CSV export on every plan. Yearly checkout is 20% off the monthly price. There is no separate “team plan”: Free and Solo are for one person, while Growth has room for 5 people and Ultimate for 50. Members share the workspace’s limits rather than getting their own. #### Workspaces and roles URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/workspaces-and-roles Owner, admin, and member — who can invite people, manage domains, and mint API tokens. A workspace is the container for links, clicks, custom domains, QR codes, webhooks, and integration secrets. The plan attached to the **owner** is the plan the whole workspace runs on. ##### How many people | Plan | People in the workspace | | --- | --- | | Free | 1 — just the owner | | Solo | 1 — just the owner | | Growth | Up to 5 | | Ultimate | Up to 50 | The owner counts as one seat, and every pending invitation holds a seat until it is accepted or cancelled. When all seats are taken, the Invite form locks until you cancel an invitation, remove a member, or upgrade. After a move to a smaller plan, everyone already in the workspace stays, but no one new can join until you are under the limit. ##### Roles | Capability | Owner | Admin | Member | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Create and edit own links | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Archive or delete anyone's link | Yes | Yes | Only their own | | Add or remove custom domains | Yes | Yes | No | | Change the workspace country access rule | Yes | Yes | No | | Turn Block bots on or off | Yes | Yes | No | | Generate or rotate the API token | Yes | Yes | View only, if a token exists | | Manage webhooks, GA4, Slack | Yes | Yes | No | | Invite, change role, or remove people | Yes | No | No | | Rename the workspace | Yes | Yes | No | ##### Inviting someone 1. Open **Team** from the sidebar. 2. Under **Invite**, enter their email and pick Admin or Member. The panel below the role lists what that role can and cannot do. 3. They receive an invitation link. Existing Letlink accounts join immediately after accepting; new addresses go through registration first. Only the owner can promote, demote, or remove members, and the owner role cannot be transferred from this screen. Cancel a pending invitation from the same page if you sent it to the wrong address. > **Warn:** The API token is per user, but it reads and writes the shared workspace. Rotating it from an admin account invalidates the previous token for Zapier, n8n, and every script that still holds it. #### Billing and upgrades URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/billing-and-upgrades How checkout, yearly vs monthly, and plan changes affect limits and stored click history. Open **Billing** from the user menu. Paid plans are Solo ($3.90/month), Growth ($8.90/month), and Ultimate ($39.90/month). Paying yearly is 20% off those totals. The Free plan does not need a card. ##### Upgrading Pick a plan and pay by card in the secure form on the Billing page. Limits and feature gates apply as soon as the subscription is active: smart link types, country blocking and allowlists, and GA4/notification integrations on Solo, Growth and Ultimate; the REST API, webhooks and remaining integrations on Growth and Ultimate; MCP/n8n on Ultimate. ##### What an upgrade does not rewind Click history already purged under a shorter retention window is gone. Ultimate keeps new clicks forever; it does not resurrect rows deleted while you were on Free (7 days) or Solo (30 days). A 3-day grace is built into the nightly purge so an upgrade the morning after a run does not immediately lose the boundary days. ##### Downgrading If you drop to a smaller plan, extra custom domains, QR codes, and links above the new caps stay in the workspace but you cannot add more until you are under the limit. Feature-gated screens (REST API, webhooks, MCP) lock according to the new plan; dropping all the way to Free also locks GA4, notification integrations, and country blocking and allowlists. Geography stays visible in analytics on every plan. Country access rules stop being enforced on Free but are kept, and apply again once you are back on a paid plan. ##### Who pays Billing is on the account that owns the workspace. Members do not need their own subscription. Cancel from the same Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the current period, then the workspace returns to Free limits. > **Tip:** If checkout fails or a receipt looks wrong, write to support from the contact form and include the workspace name plus the approximate time of the charge. Do not send card numbers. ### Links & destinations Standard and UTM links, smart types, split tests, QR codes, domains, visit limits, and country access. #### Standard and UTM links URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/standard-and-utm-links The two link types on every plan, including how UTM tags are stored and shown. **Standard URL** (`direct`) and **Link with UTM** (`utm`) are available on Free. Both send the visitor to a single destination, unless you add a split test. ##### Standard URL Paste any allowed `https://` destination. Optional title and custom short code work the same as every other type. Use this when you do not need campaign tags baked into the stored metadata. ##### Link with UTM Same redirect, plus `utm_source`, `utm_medium`, and `utm_campaign` fields. Letlink stores those values on the link and includes them on webhook payloads, Zapier visits, and the in-app stats page. They are not rewritten onto the destination unless you also put them in the URL you pasted. ##### Split tests on both types You can attach two to eight named destinations with weights. The canonical destination stays on the link for display and as a fallback; each click is tagged with the variation that was actually served. See **Split testing** for the `?vr=` override. > **Note:** UTM values on the link are independent of UTM query parameters a visitor might already have. Downstream sites see whatever is on the destination URL you configured, not a merge of Letlink's metadata. #### Smart link types URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/smart-link-types · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate App Store, Instagram, mobile platform, and desktop-vs-mobile routing on Solo, Growth and Ultimate. Free workspaces can create **Standard URL** and **Link with UTM** only. Solo, Growth, and Ultimate unlock four extra types that pick a destination from the visitor's device. ##### App Store URL Provide an iOS App Store URL and a Google Play URL (plus optional store campaign tags). iPhone and iPad visitors go to the App Store listing; Android visitors go to Play. Other clients fall back to the iOS URL unless you set a desktop fallback in metadata where the form offers it. ##### Instagram profile Enter the Instagram username. Letlink builds the profile URL for you. Webhook payloads include `instagram_username` so automations do not have to parse the path. ##### Mobile platform-aware Separate iOS, Android, and desktop destinations behind one short code. Use this when the three sites are not store listings — for example a TestFlight page, an APK site you control, and a marketing homepage. ##### Device-aware (desktop / mobile) Two destinations: one for phones and tablets, one for everything else. Simpler than the three-way mobile type when you only need “small screen vs large screen.” > **Warn:** Split tests are not available on smart types. Weighted variations apply only to Standard URL and Link with UTM. Detection uses the User-Agent; it is good, not perfect, and can be wrong on unusual browsers or in-app webviews. Create these from the dashboard or via `POST /api/v1/links` with `type` set to `appstore`, `instagram`, `mobile`, or `device`. The API returns an error if the workspace is still on Free. #### Split testing URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/split-testing Send traffic across up to eight weighted destinations behind one short link, and read the results as drift against your allocation. A split test is active when a Standard URL or UTM link has **at least two named destinations**. Each destination has a weight (positive integer). Traffic is distributed in proportion to those weights. You can define up to eight variations. ##### How to set it up 1. Create or edit a Standard URL or Link with UTM. 2. Open **Split test destinations**. 3. Add at least two rows: a short name (for example `control` and `hero-b`), a https URL, and a weight. 4. Save. The first URL remains the canonical destination shown in lists; clicks still go to whichever variation is chosen. ##### How a variation is chosen On each visit Letlink rolls against the weights. The chosen name is stored on the click as `variation` (webhook field `visitor_variation`). Analytics, CSV export, the API and every notification integration all show it. ##### How do I read the results? The **Split test** panel on the link's stats page reports each destination's *actual share of traffic against the share you allocated it*. That difference — labelled **drift** — is the number worth reading. Raw click counts on a weighted split mostly restate the weights you set: a destination given 50% of the traffic will receive roughly 50% of the clicks whether or not it is any good. Drift is what tells you something changed. - **Allocated** — the share implied by the weights you set. - **Received** — the share of clicks that actually landed on that destination. - **Drift** — the gap between them, in percentage points. A few points either way is ordinary randomness. - **Visitors** — unique devices that reached that destination, so you can tell wide reach from one enthusiastic refresher. Below roughly **100 total clicks** the panel says so and shows progress toward that mark instead of naming a leader. Two arms separated by a handful of clicks on a small sample are not distinguishable, and a dashboard that implies otherwise is worse than one that admits it. > **Note:** This measures *traffic distribution*, not conversion. Letlink sees the click, not what happened on the destination page. To judge which variation actually converted, tag each destination with a distinct UTM campaign, or send the clicks to GA4, Meta or Segment and compare there. ##### Force a variation Append `?vr=NAME` to the short URL to skip the roll and send that visitor to the named destination. Useful for QA and for sending a teammate a specific creative. An unknown name is ignored and the weighted pick runs as usual — and because the variation recorded on the click is always the destination actually served, a stray `?vr=` value can never pollute your breakdowns. Force the “hero-b” destination: ``` https://letl.ink/summer?vr=hero-b ``` > **Note:** QR scans still tag the click as `qr`. They do not replace the split-test variation name. Smart link types (App Store, Instagram, mobile, device) cannot carry a split test. #### QR codes URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/qr-codes Printable codes with their own /q/ URL. Scans are counted separately from ordinary clicks. Each QR code has its own unguessable slug at `https://letl.ink/q/{code}` — not the same path as the short link. When someone scans it, Letlink records the click with variation `qr` so you can tell print and packaging traffic from tweets and emails. ##### Limits Free 3 · Solo 10 · Growth 30 · Ultimate 100. Deleting a QR code frees a slot. The short link it points at still counts toward the link cap. ##### Create one 1. Open a link you already created. 2. Generate a QR code from that link's page. 3. Download the image (PNG) for print, or copy the `/q/…` URL if you need to embed it yourself. Certificates and branding on the short URL (custom domain) apply to how you share the link; the QR image still encodes the `letl.ink/q/…` host unless you generated it against a branded domain where the product offers that option. Scan the printed code before a campaign ships. > **Tip:** Because scans are tagged `qr`, you can filter them in analytics and in CSV exports without maintaining a second short code. On Solo, Growth and Ultimate, a scan obeys the same [country access](https://letl.ink/help-center/country-access) rule as the link it points at. #### Custom domains URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/custom-domains · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate Serve branded short links from your own hostname. CNAME to custom.letl.ink; TLS is issued for you. A custom domain makes short links look like you: `https://go.example.com/summer` instead of `https://letl.ink/summer`. Free workspaces cannot add domains. Solo allows 1, Growth 3, Ultimate 50. ##### DNS 1. In your DNS host, create a **CNAME** for the hostname you want (for example `go` on `example.com`). 2. Point it at `custom.letl.ink`. 3. Wait until the CNAME resolves. TTL of 300–600 seconds is plenty while you are testing. 4. In Letlink, open **Integrations → Custom Domain**, enter `go.example.com`, and add it. Only workspace owners and admins can do this. 5. Wait for verification. TLS certificates are issued and renewed automatically once the hostname is under our SSL service. | Type | Name | Value | | --- | --- | --- | | CNAME | go | custom.letl.ink | ##### Using it on a link When you create or edit a link, pick the verified hostname from the domain control. The short URL copies as `https://go.example.com/your-code`. API creates accept the same hostname in the `domain` field; `GET /api/v1/links` **requires** a `domain` query parameter so you can list base-domain links and branded links separately. ##### Troubleshooting - If verification fails, confirm the CNAME target is exactly `custom.letl.ink` with no leftover A/AAAA record on the same name (some DNS hosts flatten CNAMEs incorrectly). - Do not point a naked apex (`example.com`) unless your DNS host supports CNAME flattening and you understand the mail/MX implications. A subdomain is the supported path. - Certificate issuance can take a few minutes after DNS is correct. Reloading the integrations page refreshes status. > **Note:** Removing a custom domain does not delete the links that used it. They keep working on letl.ink only after you edit each link onto the base domain (or another verified hostname). #### Archive, favorites, visit limits, and bots URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/archive-favorites-visit-limits Hide unused links, pin the ones you need, cap how often one device can open a link, and block crawlers. ##### Archive and delete Archiving removes a link from the active dashboard and **frees a slot** on the plan cap, but the short code stops resolving. Deleting is permanent. Workspace owners and admins can archive or delete anyone's link; members can only change links they created. ##### Favorites Star a link from its card. Favorites appear under the Favorites view in the sidebar so campaign links do not drown in a long list. Starring is personal to the workspace data — it is a flag on the link, not a private list per member. ##### Block bots **Block bots** is a workspace setting, on by default on every plan, including Free. When it is on, crawlers, scrapers, preview fetchers (Slack, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and similar) and common automated clients receive HTTP 403 instead of the destination. They are not redirected and they are not recorded as clicks. The same check runs for QR scans. Turn it off from **Country access** (sidebar → **Manage**) if you need unfurled previews in chat apps or if a partner's server must be allowed to follow the URL. The switch applies to every link in the workspace. Owners and admins can change it; members can see the current state. With it off, those clients still never count as tracked clicks — they just reach the destination. > **Note:** An empty User-Agent is treated as a bot. Real browsers always send one. ##### Per-device visit limits On create/edit, enable **Limit visits per device** and set how many opens are allowed per device per rolling hour. When a device is over the allowance, Letlink returns HTTP 429 with a short message instead of redirecting. This is meant for gated drops and one-time invites, not for blocking bots at internet scale. Devices are distinguished with a fingerprint stored on the click (also used as the GA4 client id when Measurement Protocol is connected). It is not a login, and it can be reset if the visitor clears cookies or switches browsers. > **Warn:** A visit that is rejected by the hourly cap is not recorded as a successful click, so it does not count toward the monthly tracked-click quota and does not fire webhooks. To decide who can open a link by where they are rather than how often, see [Block or allow countries](https://letl.ink/help-center/country-access). #### Block or allow countries URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/country-access · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate Turn away visitors from the countries you list, or let in only those countries — for the whole workspace or for a single link. Country access decides who can follow a short link based on the country of the visitor's IP address. You can block the countries you list, or allow only the countries you list. A rule can cover every link in the workspace, a single link, or both — and a link's own rule always wins. ##### What it does Before Letlink redirects a visitor, it checks the rule that applies to that link. A visitor the rule permits goes straight to the destination as usual. A visitor it does not permit is sent to your fallback URL if you set one, or shown a short “not available in your region” page. The same check runs for short links and for QR code scans, so a printed code obeys the rule of the link it points at. There is no separate setting for QR codes. ##### Blocklist or allowlist | Mode | Who gets through | Typical use | | --- | --- | --- | | **Block countries** | Everyone except visitors from the countries you list. | Keeping a campaign, offer or download out of a handful of markets. | | **Allow only** | Only visitors from the countries you list. | An offer that is licensed, priced or shipped for specific markets. | Pick countries from a searchable list — type part of a name, or a two-letter code such as `DE` or `GB`. Both modes need at least one country; an empty allowlist would turn everyone away, so Letlink will not save one. ##### Workspace rule and link rules There are two places to set a rule: - **Workspace rule** — on the **Country access** page (sidebar → **Manage** → **Country access**). It applies to every link that does not have its own rule, including links created later. Only workspace owners and admins can change it. - **Link rule** — in the **Country access** section of a link's edit page. Anyone who can edit the link can set it. Each link has four options: | Link option | What applies to that link | | --- | --- | | **Workspace rule** (default) | Whatever the workspace rule says, including later changes to it. If the workspace rule is off, the link is open to every country. | | **No restriction** | Open to every country, even when the workspace blocks some. Use it to exempt a link — a support page, a global press kit — from the workspace rule. | | **Block countries** | This link's own blocklist. The workspace rule is ignored for this link. | | **Allow only** | This link's own allowlist. The workspace rule is ignored for this link. | > **Note:** A link rule **replaces** the workspace rule; the two are never merged. If the workspace blocks one country and a link blocks another, that link blocks only its own list — add both countries to the link if you want both blocked. The unknown-country setting and fallback URL also come from whichever rule applies. The **Country access** page lists every link with its own rule under **Links with their own rule**, so you can see which links override or opt out of the workspace rule. ##### Block bots The same page has **Block bots**, a separate workspace switch. It is on by default on every plan, including Free, and is not part of the country-rule plan gate. When it is on, crawlers, scrapers and preview fetchers receive HTTP 403 instead of the destination. Turn it off if you need unfurled previews in chat apps. Owners and admins can change it; members can see the current state. Details are in [Archive, favorites, visit limits, and bots](https://letl.ink/help-center/archive-favorites-visit-limits). ##### Setting it up **For the whole workspace** 1. Open **Country access** from the sidebar, under **Manage**. 2. Choose **Block countries** or **Allow only**. 3. Add countries from the searchable list. Remove one with its ×, or clear them all. 4. Decide whether to block visitors whose country can't be determined (see “Visitors whose country is unknown” below). 5. Optionally enter a fallback URL under **Send blocked visitors to**. 6. Choose **Save rule**. It applies immediately to every link without its own rule. To switch the workspace rule off, choose **Off** and save the rule. Links on **Workspace rule** are then open to every country; links with their own rule keep it. **For one link** 1. Open the link's edit page. 2. In **Country access**, choose **Workspace rule**, **No restriction**, **Block countries** or **Allow only**. The **Workspace rule** option shows what the workspace currently does. 3. For **Block countries** or **Allow only**, add countries and set the unknown-country and fallback options — they belong to this link's rule. 4. Choose **Save country access**. This panel saves on its own, separately from the link's other fields. ##### What blocked visitors see Without a fallback URL, a blocked visitor gets a short page saying the link isn't available in their country (or “in your region” when the country is unknown), with a suggestion to contact whoever shared it. It does not reveal the destination or which countries your rule lists. The page is served with HTTP `403`, marked `noindex` so search engines leave it out, and never cached — the same short URL answers differently depending on who opens it. With a fallback URL, blocked visitors are redirected there instead — a regional version of the page, a waitlist, or a note explaining where the offer is available. It must be a full `http://` or `https://` address. > **Tip:** Point the fallback at a page the blocked countries can actually reach. A fallback that is another short link under the same rule would simply turn them away again. Blocked visits are **not recorded as clicks**. They do not appear in analytics, do not count toward tracked clicks, and do not fire webhooks or integrations. ##### Visitors whose country is unknown Sometimes a country can't be determined: the lookup failed or timed out, the visitor is on a private network, or they come through certain VPNs and proxies. By default these visitors are **let through**, which is right for most blocklists — you turn away the countries you named and nobody else. Turn on **Block visitors whose country can't be determined** when the rule has to be strict — typically an allowlist that must admit only the listed countries. The trade-off is that a genuine visitor whose lookup fails is turned away too. ##### Performance and privacy - **No rule, no lookup.** When no rule is active for a link — the workspace rule is off and the link has none, or the link is set to **No restriction** — the redirect does not look up the visitor's IP at all. - When a rule is active, Letlink looks up the visitor's IP with ipinfo, our IP geolocation provider. Only the IP address is sent; private and reserved addresses are never sent and count as unknown. - Results are cached per IP address, so repeat visits from the same address need no new lookup. - An uncached lookup adds a short delay to that first redirect, capped at about 1.5 seconds. If the lookup takes longer, the country counts as unknown and your unknown-country setting decides. ##### Limitations - **Detection is IP-based.** A visitor on a VPN, proxy or Tor appears to be wherever that exit is, so a determined visitor can get around a block — and a traveller or a corporate network can be blocked by mistake. - IP geolocation data is occasionally wrong or out of date, especially for newly assigned address ranges and mobile carriers. - **It is not a compliance guarantee.** Use it to steer and filter traffic, not as the only control where you are legally required to restrict access; the destination should enforce anything it is obliged to. - **Bots and link-preview crawlers follow the rule too.** When a link is pasted into a chat app or social network, the preview is fetched from that platform's servers, which may sit in a country your rule blocks. The preview can then fail or show the blocked page, even though the link opens fine for people in allowed countries. ##### Plans and downgrades Country access is part of the Solo, Growth and Ultimate plans. On Free a rule cannot be switched on. If the workspace moves down to Free, rules stop being enforced: every link opens for every country and no lookups happen. The rules themselves are kept, not deleted — you can still see what was configured, switch rules off, or set links back to the workspace rule — and they apply again as soon as the workspace is back on a paid plan. ### Analytics & data What a click records, geography, CSV export, retention, and monthly click caps. #### Analytics overview URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/analytics-overview What Letlink stores on a click, every metric it derives from that, and how unique visitors are counted. Every recorded click is a row: time, short code, variation, device type, device brand and model, browser, operating system, referrer, IP, and country. Everything below is derived from those rows — nothing needs to be turned on. ##### Which metrics does Letlink report? | Metric | What it means | | --- | --- | | Total clicks | Every recorded visit, all time. Bots and crawlers are never counted. With Block bots on (the default, on Country access) they never reach the destination either. | | Unique visitors | Distinct devices, keyed on a hash of IP and user agent. Two people behind one office IP on the same browser count once. | | Returning visitors | Devices that came back for a second or later click, with the return rate as a percentage of unique visitors. | | Clicks per visitor | Total clicks divided by unique visitors — how repeatedly the average device opens the link. | | Daily average | Clicks per day across the window your plan retains. | | Peak day | The single busiest day in the window, and how many clicks it took. | | Hour of day | A 24-bucket histogram, plus the busiest hour stated outright. | | Day of week | A 7-bucket histogram, Monday first, plus the busiest weekday. | | First and last click | When the link first recorded traffic, and when it last did. | | Traffic channels | Referrers bucketed into Direct, Search, Social, Email & messaging, and Referral sites. | | Top sources | The individual referring hosts behind those channels. | | Top devices, browsers, platforms, brands | Parsed from the user agent on each click. | | Top countries | Every plan. See [Geographic analytics](https://letl.ink/help-center/geographic-analytics). | | QR scans | Clicks that arrived through a QR code, and their share of the link's total. | | Split-test results | Per-destination clicks, visitors and share. See [Split testing](https://letl.ink/help-center/split-testing). | ##### When do people click my links? The **When people click** card on any link's stats page answers this directly: it names the busiest hour and the busiest weekday above two histograms. Use it to time posts and sends — a link whose traffic peaks at 21:00 on a Sunday wants a different schedule from one that peaks at 10:00 on a Tuesday. The workspace Analytics page shows the same pattern across every link at once. ##### Where does my traffic come from? Two cards answer this at different resolutions. **Traffic channels** groups every referrer into Direct, Search, Social, Email & messaging and Referral sites, which is the shape a campaign report wants. **Top sources** lists the individual hosts underneath, so you can tell Instagram from TikTok inside the Social bucket. A click with no referrer header — typed, pasted, or opened from a native app — counts as Direct. ##### Where to look - **Dashboard** — totals, live activity and plan usage for the workspace. - **Analytics** — workspace-wide charts: traffic channels, sources, devices, geography, click timing, and a ranked table of every link. - **A link's stats page** — all of the above for one short code, plus its split-test scoreboard, QR scans and CSV export. - **The REST API** — `GET /analytics/summary`, `/timeseries`, `/breakdown` and `/analytics/links/{id}` return the same numbers as JSON. See the [REST API reference](https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api). ##### Variations and QR If the click came from a split test, `variation` is the destination name. QR scans use `/q/…` and are tagged `qr`. You can compare those series without creating duplicate links. ##### UTM For Link with UTM types, source, medium, and campaign are stored on the **link** and shown next to its clicks. They are also copied onto webhook and Zapier payloads. ##### What counts as a unique visitor? A unique visitor is a distinct **device**, identified by a hash of the visitor's IP address and user agent. Letlink sets no cookies on the redirect and makes no attempt to identify a person across devices or networks. That has two consequences worth knowing. Several people on one office or campus IP using the same browser version count as one visitor, so the number reads low. And one person on mobile data, then home wi-fi, then a laptop counts as three, so it reads high. Treat unique visitors as directional — a reliable way to compare two links or two weeks, not a census of individuals. > **Note:** Clicks over the monthly cap still redirect but are not written. Charts for that month will flatten even if traffic continues. Upgrade or wait for the next calendar month to start recording again. #### Geographic analytics URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/geographic-analytics Country on dashboards, CSV, API, and MCP — visible on every plan. After a click is recorded, Letlink looks up the visitor IP (skipping loopback) and stores country on that row. Lookup is asynchronous so it never slows the redirect. The one exception is a [country access](https://letl.ink/help-center/country-access) rule, which needs the visitor's country before it can decide whether to redirect. That lookup happens only on links where a rule is active. ##### Who can see it Country is stored and **shown** on every plan: dashboard maps/tables, per-link stats, CSV column `country`, `GET /api/v1/links/{id}/visits`, and MCP `get_recent_visits` / `get_link` payloads. ##### Accuracy GeoIP is only as good as the database and the address the visitor presents. VPNs, mobile carrier NATs, and corporate egress will show the exit, not the person's real location. We do not use GPS or Wi-Fi. > **Tip:** Country history follows your plan's retention window. History that was already purged under a shorter window cannot come back. #### Export clicks to CSV URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/csv-export Download workspace-wide or per-link click history, clamped to your plan's retention window. CSV export is on every plan. Open **Analytics** and download the workspace file, or open a link's stats page and download just that link. Files are streamed; the cap is 50,000 rows per download. ##### Columns Always included: `clicked_at`, `short_code`, `variation`, `device_type`, `device_brand`, `device_model`, `browser`, `os`, `referrer`, `country`. Workspace-wide files also include `link_title` and `destination`. ##### Retention Rows older than the plan window are not in the file (Free 7 days, Solo 30, Growth 365, Ultimate unlimited). That matches what the charts can show — export is not a way around retention. > **Note:** IP addresses and user agents are not in the CSV. If you need the full visit payload, use webhooks or `GET /api/v1/visits` on the Growth and Ultimate plans. #### Retention and monthly click caps URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/data-retention-and-click-caps How long click rows live, the 3-day purge grace, and what “tracked clicks” means. ##### Retention Click rows older than the plan window are deleted by a nightly job: 7 days on Free, 30 on Solo, 365 on Growth, never on Ultimate. A **3-day grace** is added on top of the window so an upgrade the morning after a purge does not immediately lose the last days of the old plan. The API applies the same floor: `start_date` on `GET /api/v1/links` cannot read further back than the workspace is allowed to keep. ##### Monthly tracked clicks Free 1,000 · Solo 5,000 · Growth 100,000 · Ultimate unlimited, counted on the calendar month in UTC. This is a **recording** cap, not a redirect cap. Visitors always reach the destination (unless a per-device visit limit returns 429, or a [country access](https://letl.ink/help-center/country-access) rule turns them away). Side effects that depend on a stored click — webhooks, GA4 `link_click`, Slack messages, geo lookup — only run when the click was written. Past the cap, automations go quiet until next month. > **Warn:** Purged clicks cannot be restored. If you know you will need a year of history, upgrade to Growth before the Free or Solo window expires — not after. ### Integrations REST API, webhooks, MCP for Claude and ChatGPT, Zapier, Make, n8n, Pipedream, and click delivery to GA4, Meta, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, Plausible, Matomo, Slack, Discord, Teams and Telegram. #### REST API URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Authenticate with an API token, list and create links, read visits, and subscribe to webhooks. The REST API is available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. Requests go to `https://letl.ink/api/v1`. HTTPS only. A workspace still on Free or Solo receives `403` from `/api/v1` (the MCP path is gated separately on Ultimate). Authenticate with `X-API-KEY` or `Authorization: Bearer`. Links support full CRUD plus bulk creation; analytics expose the same summary, time series and breakdowns the dashboard draws; and account endpoints report your plan, usage, domains and integration health. #### Webhooks URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/webhooks · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Receive a JSON POST on every recorded click. Same event Zapier REST Hooks subscribe to. On **Growth** and **Ultimate**, Letlink POSTs JSON to every HTTPS URL registered on the workspace when a click is **recorded**. Owners and admins add or remove URLs under **Integrations → Webhooks**. Members can see the list but cannot change it. ##### Add an endpoint 1. Stand up an HTTPS URL that accepts `POST` with `Content-Type: application/json`. HTTP is rejected. 2. Paste it into Integrations → Webhooks and save. The event name is `link_visited`. 3. Click one of your short links (from a network that is not over the monthly cap). You should see a request within a few seconds — delivery is queued, not inline on the redirect. You can also subscribe from the API: `POST /api/v1/hooks/subscribe` with `target_url` and optional `event` (defaults to `link_visited`). Zapier REST Hooks call that same pair of subscribe/unsubscribe routes. ##### Payload The body is the canonical visit object. Empty UTM or store fields are `null`. link_visited: ```json { "visit_id": 42, "visit_time": "2026-09-09T18:01:22+00:00", "link_type": "utm", "link_shortcode": "summer", "link_domain": "letl.ink", "link_destination_url": "https://example.com/a", "utm_source": "newsletter", "utm_campaign": "sep", "utm_medium": "email", "google_play_app_url": null, "google_play_utm_source": null, "google_play_utm_campaign": null, "app_store_app_url": null, "app_store_ct": null, "instagram_username": null, "visitor_ip": "203.0.113.10", "visitor_browser": "Chrome", "visitor_device_type": "desktop", "visitor_referrer": "https://mail.example.com/", "visitor_variation": "hero-b" } ``` ##### When a webhook does not fire - The workspace is on Free or Solo (`allowsWebhooks` is off). - The monthly tracked-click cap is already reached — the redirect still happens, no row is written, so nothing is dispatched. - A per-device visit limit returned 429 before a click was stored. - A country access rule turned the visitor away. Blocked visits are never stored as clicks. - The target URL is down. Delivery is best-effort and must never delay the visitor; failed posts are not retried from this page. ##### Who receives what Hooks are stored **per user**. Every member's `link_visited` URLs are notified for clicks on any link in the workspace. If two teammates each subscribed Zapier, both Zaps run. Remove unused URLs so a leftover Catch Hook does not keep firing. > **Note:** Slack incoming webhooks are a separate integration with a Slack-shaped body. Do not paste a Slack URL into this list unless you have built a translator; use Integrations → Slack instead. #### Zapier URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/zapier · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Trigger Zaps on each recorded visit and create short links from other apps. Zapier talks to the same REST API as your own scripts. You need a Growth or Ultimate workspace and an API token from **Integrations → Zapier** (or API — it is the same token). ##### Connect the app 1. In Zapier, add the Letlink connection and paste the API token when asked. 2. Zapier calls `GET /api/v1/auth/me` to verify it. 3. If the test fails with 403, the workspace plan does not include the API yet — upgrade to Growth. ##### Trigger: a link is visited This is a REST Hook on event `link_visited`. When you turn the Zap on, Zapier POSTs to `/api/v1/hooks/subscribe` with its Catch URL. Each recorded click is then POSTed in the webhook payload shape (see **Webhooks**). While you are mapping fields, Zapier may also call `GET /api/v1/visits` to pull sample rows — that endpoint returns the last 50 clicks in the same shape. Useful fields in the Zap: `link_shortcode`, `link_destination_url`, `visitor_device_type`, `visitor_browser`, `visitor_referrer`, `visitor_variation`, `utm_source`, `utm_campaign`, `instagram_username`. ##### Action: create a link Maps to `POST /api/v1/links`. You can pass `type`, `destination`, `short_code`, `title`, `domain`, and the smart-type fields (`ios_url`, `android_url`, and so on). Free-plan smart types and over-cap workspaces return an error into the Zap's run log. ##### Operational notes - Regenerating the token in Letlink breaks the Zapier connection until you paste the new value. - Turning a Zap off should unsubscribe the hook. If a Catch URL is left behind, delete it under Integrations → Webhooks. - High-traffic links will produce one Zap run per recorded click. Filter in Zapier (for example only `visitor_variation` = `qr`) rather than recording a second short code. > **Tip:** If you outgrow Zapier's task limits, move the same payload to n8n or your own HTTPS endpoint. The JSON does not change. #### Google Analytics 4 URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/google-analytics-4 · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate Server-side Measurement Protocol: every recorded click becomes a link_click event. On Solo, Growth and Ultimate, Letlink can send a GA4 event for every **recorded** click using the Measurement Protocol. Nothing runs in the visitor's browser, so the event still arrives when they never load your site pixel — QR scans, in-app webviews, and instant redirects included. ##### Collect credentials 1. In Google Analytics, open Admin → Data streams → your **web** stream. 2. Copy the Measurement ID (`G-` followed by letters and numbers). 3. Open Measurement Protocol API secrets and create a secret. Copy it once; GA4 will not show it again. ##### Paste them into Letlink 1. Go to **Integrations → Google Analytics 4**. Owners and admins only. 2. Paste the Measurement ID and the API secret, then save. 3. To disconnect, clear the Measurement ID and save (leave the secret blank). ##### The event Each recorded click dispatches event name `link_click` with `engagement_time_msec=1`. The GA4 `client_id` is the device fingerprint when we have one, otherwise `click.{visit_id}`. Parameters: | Parameter | Meaning | | --- | --- | | short_code | Back-half of the short URL | | link_type | `direct`, `utm`, `appstore`, `instagram`, `mobile`, or `device` | | variation | Split-test name, `qr` for scans, or empty | | device_type | For example `desktop`, `smartphone` | | browser | Browser family | | session_id | The numeric visit id, so GA4 can treat each click as its own session | ##### Seeing it in GA4 Events can take up to 24 hours to appear in standard reports. For a quicker check, use Admin → DebugView after sending traffic, or Realtime if Measurement Protocol events are included on your property. Mark `short_code` and `variation` as custom dimensions if you want them in explorations. ##### What this is not - It does not load gtag.js on the redirect. - It does not stitch the click to a later session on your destination site. The client id is Letlink's fingerprint, not your site's `_ga` cookie. - It does not fire when the monthly click cap has been hit or when a device visit limit blocks the redirect. > **Warn:** The API secret is stored on the workspace. Rotate it in GA4 and paste the new value here if it may have leaked. Anyone with the pair (G-ID + secret) can send events that look like yours. #### Slack URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/slack · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate Post a channel message on every recorded click via a Slack incoming webhook. Solo, Growth and Ultimate workspaces can push a short Slack message whenever a click is recorded. This uses Slack **incoming webhooks**, not a full Slack app OAuth install. ##### Create the Slack webhook 1. In Slack, open the Incoming Webhooks integration (Apps → Incoming Webhooks). 2. Add a new webhook to the workspace and pick a channel. A dedicated `#link-clicks` channel is strongly recommended — busy campaigns will post often. 3. Copy the URL. It looks like `https://hooks.slack.com/services/…`. ##### Connect Letlink 1. Open **Integrations → Slack**. Owners and admins only. 2. Paste the URL and save. Letlink only accepts `hooks.slack.com` incoming-webhook URLs. 3. Click a test link. You should see a message with the short URL, device/browser, variation, and referrer when those are present. ##### Message shape The post is Slack Block Kit: a section whose markdown includes a clickable `https://{host}/{code}` plus optional Device, Variation, and Referrer lines. The fallback `text` field is `Click on {host}/{code}` for notifications that ignore blocks. ##### Noise and caps One recorded click = one Slack message. Filter upstream (split-test only, QR only) by using n8n or Zapier instead of Slack-on-every-click. Past the monthly tracked-click cap, Slack goes quiet even though visitors still redirect. Clear the URL in the form to disconnect. > **Note:** This is not the same list as Integrations → Webhooks. A Slack URL in the generic webhook list would receive Letlink's visit JSON, which Slack will not render as a nice message. #### n8n URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/n8n · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Three ways in: webhook trigger, HTTP Request against the REST API, or the MCP Client node. n8n can sit in front of Letlink in three different ways. Webhooks and the REST API work on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. The MCP Client node needs **Ultimate**. The in-app page is **Integrations → n8n**; it shows your token and the MCP URL even if you already know the API docs. ##### 1. Webhook trigger (Growth and Ultimate) 1. In n8n, add a **Webhook** node. Switch it to POST, production mode, and copy the production URL. 2. Paste that URL under Letlink **Integrations → Webhooks**. 3. Each recorded click arrives as the `link_visited` JSON object. Map `link_shortcode`, `visitor_variation`, `utm_campaign`, and so on into later nodes. This is the right default for “when someone clicks, do X” — add a row to Airtable, notify a different Slack workspace, enrich the IP, open a ticket. ##### 2. HTTP Request (Growth and Ultimate) Use n8n's HTTP Request node against `https://letl.ink/api/v1`. Set header `X-API-KEY` to the token from Integrations → n8n. Typical calls: - `GET /auth/me` — connection test. - `GET /links?domain=letl.ink` — inventory plus click totals. - `POST /links` with JSON — create a short link from a form, a CRM, or a spreadsheet row. - `GET /visits` — pull the latest 50 clicks on a schedule if you do not want a push webhook. List links from an HTTP Request node: ``` GET https://letl.ink/api/v1/links?domain=letl.ink Header: X-API-KEY = YOUR_TOKEN ``` ##### 3. MCP Client (Ultimate) Point n8n's **MCP Client** node at Streamable HTTP `https://letl.ink/mcp` with `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN`. The tools are the same ones Claude and ChatGPT see: `workspace_summary`, `list_links`, `get_link`, `get_recent_visits`, `create_link`. Use this when a workflow should *ask* the workspace questions rather than parse REST JSON itself. ##### Which to pick | Job | Use | | --- | --- | | React to a click in real time | Webhook node | | Nightly report or inventory sync | HTTP Request on /links or /visits | | Create links from another system | HTTP Request POST /links | | Let an agent inspect usage and make a link | MCP Client on Ultimate | > **Warn:** Self-hosted n8n must be reachable from the internet for webhooks. A local-only Catch URL will save in Letlink but never receive events. Production webhook URLs in n8n are the ones that work; test URLs expire. #### MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, and n8n URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/mcp-claude-chatgpt · Plans: Ultimate A remote Model Context Protocol endpoint so assistants can list links, read visits, and create tracked URLs. Ultimate workspaces expose a remote **Model Context Protocol** server at `https://letl.ink/mcp`. Claude, ChatGPT, and n8n's MCP Client speak JSON-RPC over Streamable HTTP. The token is the same API token as the REST API. Workspaces on Free, Solo or Growth receive `403` on `/mcp` even if they already have a token for other reasons. ##### Protocol and auth - Protocol version `2025-03-26`. - Methods: `initialize`, `ping`, `tools/list`, `tools/call`. `resources/list` and `prompts/list` return empty lists. - Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN` or `X-API-KEY: YOUR_TOKEN`. - Owners and admins generate the token under **Integrations → MCP**. Regenerating it disconnects every MCP client at once. ##### Connect Claude 1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. 2. URL: `https://letl.ink/mcp`. 3. Authentication header: `Authorization: Bearer` plus your token. 4. Once connected, ask Claude to summarise the workspace, list links, or create a tracked short URL. ##### Connect ChatGPT 1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors → MCP. 2. Use the same URL and Bearer token. 3. Some ChatGPT workspaces require developer mode before custom MCP servers appear. If the connector is missing, check that toggle first. ##### Connect n8n MCP Client node → transport Streamable HTTP → URL `https://letl.ink/mcp` → header `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN`. Details and the other two n8n paths are in the **n8n** article. ##### Tools | Tool | What it returns / does | | --- | --- | | workspace_summary | Workspace name, plan, links used/max, clicks this calendar month, domains, QR codes, retention days, whether geo and API are on, and whether Block bots is on | | list_links | Active links (optional `limit`, default 50, max 200) | | get_link | One link by numeric `id` or `short_code` | | get_recent_visits | Latest recorded clicks (optional `limit`, default 25, max 100), including country | | create_link | Creates a tracked link. `type` may be direct, utm, appstore, instagram, mobile, or device. Smart types follow the plan; destination, UTM, and store URLs match the REST create body | Minimal initialize (after HTTPS + Bearer): ```json { "jsonrpc": "2.0", "id": 1, "method": "initialize", "params": { "protocolVersion": "2025-03-26", "capabilities": {}, "clientInfo": { "name": "docs", "version": "1" } } } ``` ##### What the model is told On initialize, the server advertises itself as letlink and instructs clients to query and create tracked short links for this workspace, including geographic fields. Tools return JSON both as text content and as `structuredContent` so clients that understand structured results can skip parsing. ##### Safety Treat a connected assistant as a teammate with API access: it can read visit rows (including IP on some visit payloads) and create links that count toward caps. Do not paste the Bearer token into a chat. Disable the connector and rotate the token if a client is no longer needed. > **Note:** MCP is not a second data store. Caps, content safety, reserved short codes, and retention are the same as the dashboard and REST API. A model cannot resurrect purged clicks or see geography on a Growth workspace. #### Discord URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/discord · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate Post a rich embed to a Discord channel every time one of your short links is clicked. To send Letlink link clicks to Discord, create an incoming webhook on the channel you want the alerts in, then paste its URL into **Integrations → Discord**. Every recorded click is posted as an embed with the short link, destination, device context and split-test variation. Available on **Solo**, **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Create the Discord webhook 1. Open the channel in Discord and choose **Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks**. 2. Click **New Webhook**, give it a name such as `Link clicks`, and pick the channel. 3. Click **Copy Webhook URL**. It looks like `https://discord.com/api/webhooks/…`. ##### Connect it to Letlink 1. Open **Integrations → Discord**. Workspace owners and admins only. 2. Paste the webhook URL and save. We only accept `discord.com/api/webhooks/` URLs. 3. Press **Send test event** to confirm the channel receives a message before real traffic arrives. ##### What the message contains A single embed titled with the link name, linked to the short URL, plus fields for **Context** (browser, OS, device, country), **Variation**, **Referrer** and **Destination** whenever those are known. ##### Nothing is arriving — what should I check? - A busy link posts on every recorded click. Use a dedicated channel so you do not drown a working one. - Past the monthly tracked-click cap the redirect still works but no click is recorded, so no message is sent. - If Discord returns an error twenty times in a row, delivery is suspended and the integration page shows the last error. Fix the webhook and save again to resume. > **Note:** Deleting the webhook in Discord makes deliveries fail with `404`. Disconnect it in Letlink too, or the failures will show as an alert on your integrations page. #### Microsoft Teams URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/microsoft-teams · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate Send a click card into a Microsoft Teams channel using an incoming webhook. To get Letlink click alerts in Microsoft Teams, create an incoming webhook for the channel — through Power Automate or a channel connector — and paste the URL into **Integrations → Microsoft Teams**. Each recorded click posts a card with the short link and its context. Available on **Solo**, **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Create the Teams webhook 1. In Teams, open the channel menu and choose **Workflows** (or **Connectors** on older tenants). 2. Pick the **Post to a channel when a webhook request is received** template, or add the **Incoming Webhook** connector. 3. Name it, confirm the channel, and copy the generated HTTPS URL. ##### Connect it to Letlink 1. Open **Integrations → Microsoft Teams**. Owners and admins only. 2. Paste the URL and save. 3. Press **Send test event** and check the channel. ##### What the card contains A `MessageCard` with the link name as the title, facts for the short link, context, variation and referrer, and an **Open short link** action button. > **Note:** Microsoft is retiring Office 365 connectors in favour of Power Automate workflows. If your connector URL stops accepting posts, recreate it as a workflow and paste the new URL — nothing else changes. #### Google Chat URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/google-chat · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate Drop click notifications into a Google Chat space with a space webhook. To send Letlink click notifications to Google Chat, add a webhook to the space and paste its URL into **Integrations → Google Chat**. Each recorded click posts a short message with a link to the short URL and its device context. Available on **Solo**, **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Create the Google Chat webhook 1. Open the space and choose **Apps & integrations → Webhooks → Add webhook**. 2. Name it `Link clicks` and save. 3. Copy the URL. It starts with `https://chat.googleapis.com/v1/spaces/`. ##### Connect it to Letlink 1. Open **Integrations → Google Chat**. Owners and admins only. 2. Paste the URL and save, then press **Send test event**. > **Note:** Webhooks are only available in spaces, not in direct messages, and a Workspace administrator must have left the feature enabled for your organisation. #### Telegram URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/telegram · Plans: Solo, Growth, Ultimate Get click alerts from a Telegram bot in any chat, group or channel. To receive Letlink click alerts in Telegram, create a bot with @BotFather, add it to the chat you want the alerts in, and give Letlink the bot token and the numeric chat ID. Every recorded click is sent as a formatted message. Available on **Solo**, **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Create the bot 1. Message **@BotFather** in Telegram and send `/newbot`. 2. Choose a name and a username. BotFather replies with a token that looks like `123456789:AA…`. 3. Add the bot to the target group or channel. In a channel it needs permission to post. ##### Find the chat ID 1. For a personal chat, message **@userinfobot** — it replies with your numeric ID. 2. For a group or channel, add **@userinfobot** briefly, or call `https://api.telegram.org/bot/getUpdates` after posting a message and read `result[].message.chat.id`. 3. Group and channel IDs are negative, for example `-1001234567890`. Keep the minus sign. ##### Connect it to Letlink 1. Open **Integrations → Telegram**. Owners and admins only. 2. Paste the bot token and the chat ID, save, then press **Send test event**. > **Warn:** A bot token is a full credential — anyone holding it can post as your bot. Letlink stores it write-only: once saved it is never shown again, and you rotate it by pasting a new one. #### Meta Conversions API URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/meta-conversions-api · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Send server-side click conversions to Meta Ads so attribution survives ad blockers and iOS limits. The Meta Conversions API integration sends every recorded click to your Meta dataset **server-side**, as a `LinkClicked` event. Because it never depends on the browser pixel, the event still reaches Meta when the visitor blocks trackers or is on an iOS device with tracking restricted. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### What you need - Your **pixel ID** (Events Manager → your dataset → Settings). - A **Conversions API access token**, generated on the same screen under Conversions API. ##### Connect it to Letlink 1. Open **Integrations → Meta Conversions API**. Owners and admins only. 2. Paste the pixel ID and access token, then save. 3. Optionally paste a **test event code** from the Test Events tab and press **Send test event** — the event appears there within a few seconds. 4. Clear the test event code once you are happy, so production events are not flagged as test traffic. ##### What we send One event per recorded click: `event_name` `LinkClicked`, `action_source` `website`, the short URL as `event_source_url`, the visitor IP and user agent in `user_data`, and the short code, destination, link type, variation and UTM values in `custom_data`. Each event carries a stable `event_id` (`click-`) so Meta can deduplicate it against a browser pixel event if you also fire one. ##### Why do my numbers not match the pixel? They should not match exactly. The pixel fires on the destination page after the redirect; this fires on the redirect itself. Clicks that never finish loading the destination appear here and not there. Use the `event_id` deduplication above if you need a single combined number. > **Warn:** You are responsible for having a lawful basis to send visitor IP addresses to Meta. Check your privacy notice and regional rules before enabling this in production. #### Segment URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/segment · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Send clicks into Segment as a Link Clicked track call and fan them out to every downstream destination. Connecting Segment forwards every recorded Letlink click to your Segment HTTP API source as a `Link Clicked` track call. From there Segment routes it to whatever destinations you have enabled — a warehouse, Mixpanel, Amplitude, an ad platform — without you wiring each one up separately. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Create the source 1. In Segment, go to **Connections → Sources → Add Source** and choose **HTTP API**. 2. Open the source, then **Settings → API Keys**, and copy the **write key**. 3. Note whether your workspace is hosted in the US or the EU — the endpoints differ. ##### Connect it to Letlink 1. Open **Integrations → Segment**. Owners and admins only. 2. Paste the write key, pick your region, and save. 3. Press **Send test event** and watch the source debugger in Segment. ##### Event shape Event name `Link Clicked`. The visitor is identified by `anonymousId`, derived from the same device fingerprint the analytics dashboard uses, so repeat clicks from one device group together. Properties include `short_code`, `short_url`, `destination_url`, `link_type`, `variation`, `referrer`, `browser`, `os`, `device_type`, `country`, and the UTM values. #### Mixpanel URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/mixpanel · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Track short-link clicks as Mixpanel events with full device and campaign context. The Mixpanel integration sends every recorded Letlink click to Mixpanel as a `Link Clicked` event via the server-side `/track` endpoint. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Connect it 1. In Mixpanel, open **Settings → Project Settings → Access Keys** and copy the **project token**. 2. Open **Integrations → Mixpanel** in Letlink. Owners and admins only. 3. Paste the token, choose the data residency that matches your project (US, EU or India), and save. 4. Press **Send test event**, then check Events in Mixpanel. ##### Event shape Event `Link Clicked`, with `distinct_id` set from the visitor device fingerprint, `$insert_id` set to `click-` so retries never double-count, and `$browser`, `$os` and `ip` populated. Link properties (`short_code`, `destination_url`, `variation`, UTM values) arrive as event properties. > **Note:** Picking the wrong region is the most common cause of "the test succeeded but I see nothing". A US token sent to the EU endpoint returns success and silently drops the event. #### PostHog URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/posthog · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Capture short-link clicks in PostHog Cloud or a self-hosted instance. The PostHog integration captures every recorded Letlink click as a `link_clicked` event. It works with PostHog Cloud (US or EU) and with self-hosted instances — you supply the instance URL. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Connect it 1. In PostHog, open **Settings → Project** and copy the **Project API key** (it starts with `phc_`). 2. Note the instance URL: `https://us.i.posthog.com`, `https://eu.i.posthog.com`, or your own hostname. 3. Open **Integrations → PostHog** in Letlink, paste both values, and save. 4. Press **Send test event** and check the Activity view. ##### Event shape Event `link_clicked`, `distinct_id` from the visitor device fingerprint, and properties including `$current_url` (the short URL), `$referrer`, `$browser`, `$os`, `$ip` plus the link properties. Because `distinct_id` is stable per device, clicks join up with the rest of that person's activity if you also run the PostHog snippet on the destination. #### Amplitude URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/amplitude · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Stream short-link clicks into Amplitude for funnel, cohort and retention analysis. The Amplitude integration sends every recorded Letlink click to the Amplitude HTTP V2 API as a `Link Clicked` event, so short links can be the first step of a funnel you already measure. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Connect it 1. In Amplitude, open **Settings → Projects → your project → General** and copy the **API key**. 2. Open **Integrations → Amplitude** in Letlink, paste the key, pick US or EU residency, and save. 3. Press **Send test event** and watch the User Look-Up or Events stream. ##### Event shape Event type `Link Clicked` with `device_id` from the visitor fingerprint, `insert_id` set to `click-` for deduplication, `time` in milliseconds, plus `ip`, `os_name` and `country`. Link details arrive in `event_properties`. #### Plausible URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/plausible · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Record short-link clicks as privacy-friendly custom events in Plausible. The Plausible integration records every Letlink click as a `Link Clicked` custom event against the site you name. It works with Plausible Cloud and with self-hosted instances. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Connect it 1. In Plausible, note the **site domain** exactly as it is listed — for example `example.com`, with no `https://`. 2. Open **Integrations → Plausible** in Letlink, enter the domain, and leave the instance URL as `https://plausible.io` unless you self-host. 3. Save, then press **Send test event**. 4. In Plausible, add a **Custom event goal** named `Link Clicked` so the event appears on the dashboard. ##### Event shape Event `Link Clicked` with the short URL as `url`, the visitor referrer, and custom properties `short_code`, `link_type`, `variation` and `destination`. The visitor IP and user agent are forwarded so Plausible can do its own country and device attribution — it never stores either. > **Note:** Plausible only shows custom events once a goal exists for them. If the test event succeeds but the dashboard stays empty, the missing goal is almost always why. #### Matomo URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/matomo · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Send short-link clicks to your own Matomo instance through the Tracking API. The Matomo integration tracks every recorded Letlink click server-side against a site in your Matomo instance, as an event in the `Short link` category. Because you host Matomo, the click data never leaves your infrastructure. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Connect it 1. In Matomo, open **Administration → Websites → Manage** and note the **site ID** you want to track into. 2. Create an auth token under **Administration → Personal → Security → Auth tokens**. This is what lets Matomo accept the visitor IP we forward. 3. Open **Integrations → Matomo** in Letlink, enter the Matomo URL, site ID and token, and save. 4. Press **Send test event**, then check **Visitors → Visits Log**. ##### Event shape An event with category `Short link`, action `Click` and name set to the short code, plus the short URL, referrer, user agent and — when a token is supplied — the visitor IP so Matomo resolves geography itself. > **Note:** Without an auth token Matomo attributes every click to our servers rather than to the visitor. The token is optional but strongly recommended. #### Make URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/make · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Trigger Make scenarios from clicks, and shorten URLs from any Make module. Make (formerly Integromat) connects to Letlink in two directions: a **custom webhook** module that starts a scenario on every click, and **HTTP modules** that call the REST API to create or read links from inside any scenario. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Start a scenario on every click 1. In Make, add a **Webhooks → Custom webhook** trigger and copy its address. 2. In Letlink, open **Integrations → Webhooks** and add that address as an endpoint. 3. Back in Make, click **Re-determine data structure** and then click one of your short links so Make learns the payload shape. ##### Create links from a scenario 1. Generate an API token under **Integrations → Make** (it is the same workspace token the REST API uses). 2. Add an **HTTP → Make a request** module: `POST https://letl.ink/api/v1/links`, header `X-API-KEY`, and a JSON body with `destination` and optionally `short_code`, `title` and `domain`. 3. Map the returned `data.url` into whatever comes next — a spreadsheet row, an email, a social post. ##### Payload fields The webhook body is the same visit JSON documented in [Webhooks](https://letl.ink/help-center/webhooks): `link_shortcode`, `link_destination_url`, `visit_time`, `visitor_browser`, `visitor_device_type`, `visitor_referrer`, `visitor_variation` and the UTM fields. #### Pipedream URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/pipedream · Plans: Growth, Ultimate Run a hosted code step on every click using a Pipedream HTTP trigger. Pipedream gives every workflow its own HTTPS trigger URL. Register that URL as a Letlink webhook and each recorded click starts a run, where you can transform it with Node, Python or Go and forward it anywhere. Available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. ##### Connect it 1. Create a new Pipedream workflow with an **HTTP / Webhook** trigger and copy the endpoint URL. 2. In Letlink, open **Integrations → Webhooks** and add that URL. 3. Click one of your short links. The event appears in the Pipedream inspector, ready to build on. ##### Working the other way Generate an API token under **Integrations → Pipedream** and call `https://letl.ink/api/v1` from any step with the `X-API-KEY` header to create links, read visits or pull click totals. > **Note:** Pipedream charges per invocation. A high-traffic link can produce a lot of runs — filter early in the workflow, or point the webhook at a link set you actually need to react to. ### Account & safety Profile, two-factor authentication, privacy, content rules, abuse reports, and deleting an account. #### Account settings URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/account-settings Profile, password, two-factor authentication, and where workspace settings live instead. Open **Settings** from the user menu. General is your display name. Security is your password, two-factor authentication, and account deletion. ##### General Update the display name. The email we use for login and invitations cannot be changed from this page. ##### Security - Change password from the Security tab. You will need the current password. - **Two-factor authentication** is covered in [Two-factor authentication](https://letl.ink/help-center/two-factor-authentication). Turn it on from the same Security tab. - **Delete account** is at the bottom of Security. It is irreversible. ##### Not on this page Workspace name, invitations, and roles are under **Team**. API tokens, domains, webhooks, GA4, Slack, n8n, and MCP are under **Integrations**. Plan and invoices are under **Billing**. **Block bots** and country rules are under **Country access**. > **Tip:** If you lose both the authenticator and the backup codes, contact support from a mailbox we already have on file. We will not disable 2FA from an unverified address. #### Two-factor authentication (2FA) URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/two-factor-authentication Require a 2FA authenticator app (or a backup code) after your password, so a stolen password is not enough to get in. Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a one-time code from an authenticator app after you enter your password. Letlink uses TOTP — the same standard as Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, and most password managers. It is off until you turn it on. Every plan includes it. ##### Turn it on 1. Open **Settings → Security**. 2. Choose **Enable two-factor authentication**. 3. Scan the QR code in your authenticator app. If you cannot scan, type the manual setup key into the app instead. 4. Enter the 6-digit code the app is showing, then confirm. 5. Copy or write down the **backup codes** before you leave the page. Letlink stores only hashes of those codes — we cannot show the originals again. Until you confirm a valid code, 2FA is not enabled. Canceling setup discards the unused secret. ##### Signing in After a correct email and password, Letlink asks for an authentication code. Enter the current 6-digit number from the app, or one unused backup code (`xxxx-xxxx`). A used backup code will not work a second time. If you started sign-in on the wrong account, choose **Use a different account** to sign out of the half-finished login and try again. ##### Backup codes Setup creates ten codes. Each one signs you in once if the phone or app is gone. From **Settings → Security**, enter your current password and choose **Regenerate backup codes** to replace the set — previous codes stop working immediately. The page tells you how many unused codes remain. ##### Turn it off On **Settings → Security**, enter your current password and choose **Disable**. You must already be signed in. Disabling clears the authenticator secret and any leftover backup codes. ##### If you are locked out - Still have a backup code? Use it at the sign-in prompt, then regenerate a new set from Settings. - Still have the authenticator? Sign in with a fresh 6-digit code, then disable or re-enroll from Settings if you are moving to a new phone. - Lost both? Contact support from an email address already on the account. We will not turn 2FA off from an address we cannot match. ##### API tokens and apps Workspace API tokens (REST, Zapier, n8n, MCP) authenticate on their own. They do not prompt for a TOTP code. Treat the token as a secret: regenerating it from Integrations invalidates every script still holding the old value. > **Warn:** Save backup codes somewhere that is not the same phone as the authenticator. A stolen password plus that phone is otherwise enough to empty the backup list and lock you out. #### Privacy and click data URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/privacy-and-click-data What we store about visitors, what account holders see, and what we do not do with it. When someone opens a short link, Letlink may store IP address, user agent, derived device/browser/OS, referrer, a device fingerprint (for visit limits and GA4 client id), and — after a lookup — an approximate location. That data exists so the **account holder** can see statistics, enforce per-device limits, and detect abuse. ##### What we do not do - We do not build advertising profiles from click data. - We do not sell visitor data. - We do not combine it with other sources to name an individual visitor. ##### Who can see what Workspace members see aggregated analytics and, on a link's visit API, IP and user agent. CSV export omits IP and user agent. Country displays on every plan. Webhooks on Growth and Ultimate include `visitor_ip` because automations often need it — only add HTTPS endpoints you trust. ##### How long it lasts Click rows are deleted after the plan retention window (plus a 3-day grace on the purge job). Ultimate keeps them until you delete the link, the workspace, or the account. Details are in **Retention and monthly click caps**. The full legal text is in the privacy policy in the footer. > **Note:** If you connect GA4 or Slack, click metadata also leaves Letlink toward those providers under their terms. Disconnect those integrations if that is not acceptable for a given campaign. #### Content safety URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/content-safety Short codes and destinations we refuse, and why a create might fail with a safety error. Letlink will not create a link that looks like impersonation, adult/gambling destinations we block, or a short code made of reserved or abusive words. The check runs in the dashboard and in the API/MCP `create_link` tool. ##### Short codes Product paths (`login`, `billing`, `help`, …) are reserved so they can never collide with the app. Separately, a blocklist rejects codes that are slurs, sexual, violent, or classic phishing bait (`paypal`, `secure`, `verify`, …), including hyphenated forms like `verify-account`. ##### Destinations Known adult, gambling, torrent, and disposable-tunnel hosts are refused. Destinations must be `http` or `https` URLs we can parse. If you believe a legitimate site is caught by mistake, contact support with the exact URL — do not try to disguise it with a redirector. ##### After a link is live We still disable destinations that violate the terms once they are reported or discovered. A previously working short code may start serving an error page. That is intentional. > **Warn:** Trying to launder a blocked destination through an allowed intermediate URL is still a terms violation. Report those to abuse@letl.ink. #### Report a malicious or broken link URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/report-abuse How to flag phishing, malware, or a short URL that should not resolve. If a `letl.ink` short link (or a custom-domain link that still redirects through us) looks like phishing, malware, harassment, or anything that should not be resolved, write to **abuse@letl.ink**. ##### What to include - The full short URL you opened. - The destination you landed on (copy from the address bar after the redirect). - When you opened it, plus screenshots if the destination already changed. - Why you believe it is abusive (phishing kit, impersonation, malware download, illegal content). We investigate reports and disable links that violate the terms. You can also use the [contact form](https://letl.ink/contact) for non-abuse product questions — abuse mail is the faster path for takedowns. > **Note:** Do not click a suspected malware link “to help us reproduce it” from a machine you care about. The short URL and destination are enough for us to fetch it safely. #### Delete your account URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/delete-your-account Permanent removal of your user, workspace data you own, and stored clicks. Account deletion is in **Settings → Security**. It is irreversible. We ask for a typed confirmation because every link, click row, domain, QR code, webhook, and integration secret on workspaces you **own** goes with it. ##### Before you click - Cancel a paid subscription from Billing if you do not want another invoice. Deleting the account does not by itself stop billing, so a subscription left active can still send a receipt later. - Export CSV if you need a copy of click history. We cannot restore it later. - If you are a **member** of someone else's workspace, deleting your user removes you from that team; it does not delete their links. Ask the owner to remove you if you only want out of that workspace. ##### What visitors see Short URLs on `letl.ink` (and custom hosts that belonged to your workspace) stop resolving after the data is gone. There is no forwarding period. > **Warn:** If you are the only owner, there is no hand-off. Transfer campaigns (export, recreate under another account, update public QR codes) before you delete. ## REST API reference URL: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api The REST API is available on **Growth** and **Ultimate**. Requests go to `https://letl.ink/api/v1` over HTTPS. A workspace on Free or Solo receives `403 plan_required` from `/api/v1`; the MCP endpoint is gated separately on Ultimate. ### Getting a token 1. Open **Integrations → REST API** (workspace owners and admins only). 2. Generate a token. It does not expire. 3. Store it like a password. One token serves the REST API, the MCP server and every automation platform connected to this workspace, so regenerating it invalidates all of them at once. Members can copy an existing token if one has been generated; only owners and admins can rotate it. ### Authentication Send the token as `X-API-KEY` **or** as `Authorization: Bearer`. Both are accepted on `/api/v1` and on `/mcp`. A request with no token at all returns `401 unauthenticated`. ### Response envelope Every successful response is a JSON object with a `data` key, and a `meta` key when there is anything to say about the result — pagination, the resolved date window, whether geography was included. Every failure is an object with an `error` key holding a stable `code`, a human `message`, and sometimes `details`. Branch on `code`, never on message text. Shapes: ```json // success { "data": { … }, "meta": { … } } // failure { "error": { "code": "invalid_parameter", "message": "sort must be one of: created_at, clicks.", "details": { "parameter": "sort" } } } ``` ### Pagination List endpoints accept `limit` (1–200, default 50) and `offset`. The `meta` block reports `total`, `has_more` and `next_offset`, so you can page without doing arithmetic: keep calling with `offset = meta.next_offset` until `has_more` is `false`. Paging through every link: ``` offset=0 while [ "$offset" != "null" ]; do page=$(curl -s -H "X-API-KEY: $TOKEN" \ "https://letl.ink/api/v1/links?limit=200&offset=$offset") echo "$page" | jq -c '.data[]' offset=$(echo "$page" | jq -r '.meta.next_offset') done ``` ### Sorting, filtering and search `GET /links` accepts `sort` (`created_at`, `clicks`, `short_code`, `title`, `updated_at`), `direction` (`asc`/`desc`), `search` (matches short code, title and destination), `type`, `archived`, `favorite` and `domain`. Unknown values are rejected with `invalid_parameter` and the list of what is allowed, rather than being silently ignored. ### Date windows `start_date` and `end_date` use `YYYY-MM-DD` and are inclusive of both days. A window is clamped to your plan's retention floor — asking a 30-day-retention plan for a year of history returns the 30 days it has, and `meta.date_range` tells you the window actually used. ### Rate limits 600 requests per minute per account, on a sliding window. Every response carries `X-RateLimit-Limit`, `X-RateLimit-Remaining` and `X-RateLimit-Reset` (a Unix timestamp). Exceeding the limit returns `429 rate_limited` with a `Retry-After` header in seconds. Back off on `Retry-After` rather than retrying immediately. Headers on every response: ``` X-RateLimit-Limit: 600 X-RateLimit-Remaining: 586 X-RateLimit-Reset: 1789000816 ``` ### Versioning The path carries the version. Adding a field to a response or a new optional parameter is not a breaking change and can happen at any time, so parse defensively and ignore keys you do not recognise. Anything that would change or remove an existing field ships under a new version prefix. ### Endpoints #### Account ##### GET /me Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#get-me Identity, workspace, plan and every entitlement that plan carries. The cheapest way to verify a token and to discover what the account is allowed to do before you attempt it. Request (cURL): ```bash curl -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_TOKEN" \ https://letl.ink/api/v1/me ``` Response 200: ```json { "data": { "user": { "id": 1, "email": "you@example.com", "name": "You" }, "workspace": { "id": 12, "name": "My Workspace", "block_bots": true }, "plan": { "id": "growth", "name": "Growth", "limits": { "links": 200, "monthly_clicks": 100000, "custom_domains": 3, "qr_codes": 30, "retention_days": 365 }, "features": { "api": true, "webhooks": true, "integrations": true, "ai_access": false, "geo_analytics": false, "smart_link_types": true } }, "base_domain": "letl.ink" } } ``` ##### GET /usage Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#get-usage How much of each allowance is consumed this billing month. Use it to warn a customer before they hit the tracked-click ceiling — past it the redirect still works, but clicks stop being recorded. Response 200: ```json { "data": { "links": { "used": 42, "limit": 200, "remaining": 158, "percent_used": 21.0 }, "clicks_this_month": { "used": 8140, "limit": 100000, "remaining": 91860, "percent_used": 8.1 }, "custom_domains": { "used": 1, "limit": 3, "remaining": 2, "percent_used": 33.3 }, "qr_codes": { "used": 4, "limit": 30, "remaining": 26, "percent_used": 13.3 } }, "meta": { "plan": "growth", "period": "2026-09" } } ``` ##### GET /domains Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#get-domains Custom domains on the workspace and whether each one has finished DNS verification. Only verified domains may be used as the `domain` field when creating a link. ##### GET /integrations Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#get-integrations Every integration the product offers, whether your plan includes it, whether this workspace has connected it, and how delivery is going — last status, last error and consecutive failure count. Useful for monitoring a fleet of workspaces. #### Links ##### GET /links Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#list-links Links in the workspace, with click totals split into `all`, `ios`, `android` and `desktop`. Links with zero clicks are included. Query parameters: | Name | Type | Required | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `domain` | string | No | Restrict to one hostname. Omit to list every hostname in the workspace. | | `search` | string | No | Matches short code, title and destination. | | `type` | string | No | `direct`, `utm`, `appstore`, `instagram`, `mobile` or `device`. | | `archived` | boolean | No | Defaults to `false`. Pass `true` to list the archive instead. | | `favorite` | boolean | No | Restrict to starred links. | | `sort` | string | No | `created_at` (default), `clicks`, `short_code`, `title` or `updated_at`. | | `direction` | string | No | `asc` or `desc`. Defaults to `desc`. | | `limit` | integer | No | 1–200. Defaults to 50. | | `offset` | integer | No | Defaults to 0. | | `start_date` | date | No | `YYYY-MM-DD`. Windows the click totals, not which links are returned. | | `end_date` | date | No | `YYYY-MM-DD`, inclusive. | Request (cURL): ```bash curl -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_TOKEN" \ "https://letl.ink/api/v1/links?sort=clicks&limit=20" ``` Response 200: ```json { "data": [ { "id": 49, "short_code": "spring", "domain": "letl.ink", "url": "https://letl.ink/spring", "destination": "https://shop.example.com/spring", "title": "Spring sale", "type": "utm", "archived": false, "favorite": true, "created_at": "2026-08-01T09:14:00+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-09-02T11:00:00+00:00", "clicks": { "all": 650, "ios": 180, "android": 210, "desktop": 260 }, "total_clicks": 650, "device_limit": null, "utm": { "source": "twitter", "medium": "social", "campaign": "spring" }, "split_test": { "variations": [ { "name": "control", "url": "https://example.com/a", "weight": 2 }, { "name": "variant-b", "url": "https://example.com/b", "weight": 1 } ] } } ], "meta": { "total": 42, "limit": 20, "offset": 0, "has_more": true, "next_offset": 20, "sort": "clicks", "direction": "desc", "date_range": { "start_date": null, "end_date": null }, "domain": "all" } } ``` ##### GET /links/{id} Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#get-link One link by id, in the same shape the list endpoint returns. ##### POST /links Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#create-link Create a short link. Omit `short_code` for a random one. If the destination has no `title` we fetch the page title in the background. Body fields: | Name | Type | Required | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `destination` | | Yes* | The URL to redirect to. Required for `direct` and `utm` links. `original_url` is accepted as an alias. | | `short_code` | | No | Up to 20 characters: letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores, not starting or ending with a separator. Must be unique per hostname. | | `title` | | No | Display name in the dashboard. | | `domain` | | No | A verified custom domain, or the base domain. Defaults to the base domain. | | `type` | | No | `direct` (default), `utm`, `appstore`, `instagram`, `mobile` or `device`. Everything but `direct` and `utm` needs the Solo, Growth or Ultimate plan. | | `utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign` | | No | For `utm` links; `utm_source` is required when `type` is `utm`. | | `ios_url, android_url` | | No | Platform destinations for `appstore` and `mobile` links. | | `desktop_url, mobile_url` | | No | Both required for `device` links. | | `instagram_username` | | No | For `instagram` links. | | `split_variations` | | No | An array of `{name, url, weight}` objects — at least two — to run a weighted split test on a `direct` or `utm` link. | | `limit_visits_per_device` | | No | Set `true` and supply `visit_limit_per_device` to cap hourly visits per device. | Request (cURL): ```bash curl -X POST https://letl.ink/api/v1/links \ -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_TOKEN" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{ "destination": "https://shop.example.com/spring", "short_code": "spring", "title": "Spring sale", "type": "utm", "utm_source": "twitter", "utm_campaign": "spring" }' ``` Response 201: ``` The created link, in the shape shown above. ``` ##### POST /links/bulk Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#bulk-links Create many links in one request. Each row is attempted independently: valid rows are created and the failures are reported per index, so one bad URL never discards the rest of the batch. Returns `201` when anything was created, `422` when nothing was. Request (cURL): ```bash curl -X POST https://letl.ink/api/v1/links/bulk \ -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_TOKEN" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"links":[ {"destination":"https://example.com/1","short_code":"one"}, {"destination":"https://example.com/2"} ]}' ``` Response 201: ```json { "data": [ { "id": 51, "short_code": "one", … } ], "meta": { "requested": 2, "created": 1, "failed": 1, "errors": [ { "index": 1, "code": "invalid_request", "message": "This shortcode is already taken.", "short_code": "two" } ] } } ``` ##### PATCH /links/{id} Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#update-link `PATCH` merges: only the fields you send are changed, everything else keeps its current value. `PUT` replaces: anything you omit is cleared. Accepts the same fields as create. Request (Rename without touching anything else): ```bash curl -X PATCH https://letl.ink/api/v1/links/49 \ -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_TOKEN" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"title": "Spring sale — extended"}' ``` ##### DELETE /links/{id} Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#archive-link Archives the link: it stops resolving and frees an allowance slot, while its click history is kept. There is deliberately no permanent delete on the API — destroying a link and its history stays a dashboard action behind an explicit confirmation. ##### POST /links/{id}/restore Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#restore-link Brings an archived link back into rotation. Returns `403 plan_required` if the workspace is already at its active-link allowance. ##### GET /links/{id}/events Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#link-events Individual visits to one link, newest first. Accepts `limit` and `offset`. Country is included on every plan. #### Analytics ##### GET /analytics/summary Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#analytics-summary The headline numbers for the whole workspace: clicks all-time and in the window, unique visitors, QR scans, peak day, and hour-of-day and day-of-week distributions. Accepts `days` (default 30, clamped to your retention). Response 200 (abridged): ```json { "data": { "window_days": 30, "clicks": { "total": 24592, "window": 8140, "last_7_days": 2103, "daily_average": 271, "peak_day": { "date": "Sep 02", "clicks": 612 } }, "visitors": { "unique_total": 18204, "unique_window": 6021 }, "qr": { "scans_total": 940, "scans_window": 310 }, "timing": { "by_hour": [12, 4, 2, …], "by_weekday": [1420, 1610, 1585, 1490, 1310, 480, 245], "peak_hour": { "peakHour": 14, "peakValue": 812, "label": "14:00–14:59" }, "peak_weekday": { "peakDay": 1, "peakValue": 1610, "label": "Tuesday" } }, "links": { "active": 42, "limit": 200 } }, "meta": { "plan": "growth", "geo_included": true, "retention_days": 365 } } ``` ##### GET /analytics/timeseries Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#analytics-timeseries Daily click counts, ready to chart. Pass `link_id` to scope it to one link, and `days` to set the window. Days with no traffic are returned as zero rather than omitted, so the series is always contiguous. Response 200: ```json { "data": [ { "date": "Sep 04", "clicks": 22 }, { "date": "Sep 05", "clicks": 11 } ], "meta": { "window_days": 7, "total": 33, "link_id": null } } ``` ##### GET /analytics/breakdown Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#analytics-breakdown Clicks grouped by one dimension, with each row's share of the total. Query parameters: | Name | Type | Required | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `dimension` | string | Yes | `channel`, `referrer`, `device`, `browser`, `os`, `brand`, `variation` or `country`. `browser`, `os`, `brand` and `variation` need a `link_id`. | | `link_id` | integer | No | Scope to one link. Omit for the whole workspace. | | `limit` | integer | No | 1–100. Defaults to 10. | Response 200: ```json { "data": [ { "label": "Search", "value": 215, "share": 33.1 }, { "label": "Social", "value": 201, "share": 30.9 }, { "label": "Direct / none", "value": 142, "share": 21.8 } ], "meta": { "dimension": "channel", "link_id": 49, "total": 650 } } ``` ##### GET /analytics/links/{id} Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#analytics-link Everything the dashboard shows for one link in a single call: the link itself, click totals, unique and returning visitors, the daily series, hour and weekday distributions, all breakdowns, and the split-test scoreboard when the link is running one. Response 200 (split_test excerpt): ``` "split_test": { "active": true, "conclusive": true, "minClicks": 100, "leader": "control", "totalClicks": 650, "totalVisitors": 172, "arms": [ { "name": "control", "isControl": true, "weight": 2, "clicks": 357, "visitors": 60, "expectedShare": 50.0, "actualShare": 54.9, "drift": 4.9 }, { "name": "variant-b", "isControl": false, "weight": 1, "clicks": 146, "visitors": 57, "expectedShare": 25.0, "actualShare": 22.5, "drift": -2.5 } ] } ``` ##### GET /events Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#events The raw visit feed across every link in the workspace, newest first. This is the modern replacement for `GET /visits`: same data, standard envelope, `limit` and `offset` support. Response 200: ```json { "data": [ { "id": 2691, "link_id": 49, "short_code": "spring", "occurred_at": "2026-09-10T22:45:33+00:00", "ip_address": "203.0.113.7", "referrer": "https://twitter.com/", "browser": "Chrome", "os": "iOS", "device_type": "mobile", "device_brand": "Apple", "country": "US", "variation": "control" } ], "meta": { "limit": 50, "returned": 50, "geo_included": true } } ``` #### Webhooks ##### GET /hooks Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#list-hooks Webhook endpoints registered on this account. ##### POST /hooks Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#create-hook Register an HTTPS endpoint to receive a JSON payload on every recorded click. Up to 25 per account. Failed deliveries are retried automatically. Body fields: | Name | Type | Required | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `target_url` | | Yes | Must be `https://`. | | `event` | | No | Defaults to `link_visited`, which is currently the only event. | Request (cURL): ```bash curl -X POST https://letl.ink/api/v1/hooks \ -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_TOKEN" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"target_url": "https://example.com/hooks/clicks"}' ``` ##### DELETE /hooks/{id} Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#delete-hook Remove a webhook endpoint. `POST /hooks/subscribe` and `DELETE /hooks/unsubscribe/{id}` remain available for Zapier's REST Hook flow. #### Legacy ##### GET /auth/me Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#auth-me The original connection test: returns your user id, email and workspace id/name as a flat object. `GET /me` returns the same identity plus your plan limits and feature flags, and is the better choice for new code. Request (cURL): ```bash curl -H "X-API-KEY: YOUR_TOKEN" \ https://letl.ink/api/v1/auth/me ``` Response 200: ```json { "id": 1, "email": "user@example.com", "workspace_id": 12, "workspace_name": "My Workspace" } ``` ##### GET /stats Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#link-stats Click totals for a single link, addressed by `domain` and `slug` rather than by id. Both parameters are required. `GET /links/{id}` and `GET /analytics/links/{id}` cover the same ground when you know the id. Query parameters: | Name | Type | Required | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `domain` | string | Yes | The base domain or one of your verified custom domains. | | `slug` | string | Yes | The short code, without a leading slash. | | `start_date` | date | No | `YYYY-MM-DD`, clamped to your plan's retention. | | `end_date` | date | No | `YYYY-MM-DD`, inclusive. | ##### GET /visits Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#visits The 50 most recent visits across the workspace as a **bare JSON array** — no envelope — using `visit_id`, `visit_time`, `link_shortcode` and `visitor_*` field names. This is what Zapier's REST Hook "perform list" step reads, so its shape is frozen. Use `GET /events` for new work. ##### GET /links/{id}/visits Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#link-visits The 50 most recent visits to one link, as a bare array with `created_at`, `ip_address`, `country`, `device_type`, `browser`, `os` and `referrer`. Frozen alongside `/visits`; use `GET /links/{id}/events` for new work. ##### POST /hooks/subscribe Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#hooks-subscribe REST Hook subscribe. Takes `target_url` and an optional `event` (default `link_visited`) and returns the created subscription flat, without an envelope. `POST /hooks` is the same operation in the standard shape. ##### DELETE /hooks/unsubscribe/{id} Anchor: https://letl.ink/help-center/rest-api#hooks-unsubscribe REST Hook unsubscribe, returning `{"success": true}`. `DELETE /hooks/{id}` is the equivalent in the standard shape. ### Errors | Status | Meaning | | --- | --- | | `400 invalid_request` | The body was not a JSON object, or a required field was missing. | | `400 invalid_parameter` | A query parameter was malformed or outside its allowed set. `details.parameter` names the offender. | | `401 unauthenticated` | No token was sent. Add `X-API-KEY` or `Authorization: Bearer`. | | `401 invalid_token` | The token does not match any account. It may have been regenerated. | | `403 plan_required` | The account's plan does not include this endpoint or feature. `details.upgrade_url` points at billing. | | `403 forbidden` | Authenticated, but not permitted — for example a member attempting an owner-only action. | | `404 not_found` | No such resource in this workspace. Ids from another workspace are reported as not found rather than forbidden. | | `409 conflict` | The request collides with current state — the webhook limit is reached, or the account has no workspace yet. | | `422` | Returned by `POST /links/bulk` when every row in the batch failed. Inspect `meta.errors`. | | `429 rate_limited` | Over 600 requests in the last minute. Wait for `Retry-After` seconds. | The legacy `GET /visits` and `GET /links/{id}/visits` endpoints return a bare JSON array with their own field names and are frozen for the Zapier integrations already built on them. New code should use `GET /events` and `GET /links/{id}/events`, which use the standard envelope and support pagination. ## Comparisons Hub: https://letl.ink/vs. Every competitor figure was read off that company's own public pricing page on the date given; anything a pricing page did not state is marked as not listed. The comparisons focus on the features people switch over — a selection, not a complete audit — and are published by Letlink. **Which URL shortener has the cheapest paid plan?** Of the tools compared here, Letlink has the lowest-priced paid plan, at $3.90 a month ($3.12 billed yearly). It is followed by Short.io at $5 a month, Rebrandly at $8 a month billed annually ($11 monthly), TinyURL at $9 a month, Bitly at $10 a month billed annually and Dub at $90 a month. Figures are taken from each vendor's own pricing page. **Which URL shortener includes split testing on its free plan?** Letlink does. Its free plan has no time limit and needs no card: 1,000 tracked links and 1,000 tracked clicks a month, split testing included, with country, device, browser, referrer and UTM data on every click. Of the tools compared here, it is the only one whose pricing page lists split testing on a free plan. **Which link shorteners support device routing and A/B testing?** Of the six tools compared here, Letlink, Dub and Short.io list both device targeting and A/B testing. Letlink includes split testing on every plan including Free and device routing from $3.90 a month; Dub includes both on every plan, from $90 a month; Short.io lists both on its paid plans. Rebrandly lists traffic routing from $32 a month. Neither Bitly's nor TinyURL's pricing page lists them. **What is the best alternative to Bitly?** For most individuals and small teams, Letlink: it includes a custom domain from $3.90 a month where Bitly starts branded links at $29, webhooks from $8.90 a month where Bitly lists them at $199, and device routing and split testing behind one short link. Bitly remains the stronger choice for enterprise procurement and SSO. **How were these comparisons made?** Every competitor figure was read off that company's own public pricing page, on the date printed on each comparison, and anything a pricing page did not state is marked as not listed rather than guessed. The tables focus on the features people switch over — they are a selection, not a complete audit — and they are published by Letlink. ### Letlink vs Bitly URL: https://letl.ink/vs/bitly · Bitly figures verified on 2026-08-13 from https://bitly.com/pages/pricing Letlink is the cheaper way to get a branded domain and smart routing: its $3.90 Solo plan includes a custom domain, where Bitly's pricing page starts branded links on Growth at $29 a month. Letlink includes one, with an SSL certificate issued and renewed automatically, on Solo — its cheapest paid plan, at $3.90 a month. **How does Letlink send iPhone and Android visitors to different places?** One Letlink short link holds a rule per platform: iOS visitors can go to the App Store, Android visitors to Google Play and desktop visitors to your website.
