Geographic analytics
Country on dashboards, CSV, API, and MCP — visible on every plan.
After a click is recorded, Letlink looks up the visitor IP (skipping loopback) and stores country on that row. Lookup is asynchronous so it never slows the redirect.
The one exception is a country access rule, which needs the visitor's country before it can decide whether to redirect. That lookup happens only on links where a rule is active.
Who can see it
Country is stored and shown on every plan: dashboard maps/tables, per-link stats, CSV column country, GET /api/v1/links/{id}/visits, and MCP get_recent_visits / get_link payloads.
Accuracy
GeoIP is only as good as the database and the address the visitor presents. VPNs, mobile carrier NATs, and corporate egress will show the exit, not the person's real location. We do not use GPS or Wi-Fi.
