Link Analyzer
everything about one URL

One check for everything that decides whether a link works and gets found: the redirect chain, HTTPS, response time, title and description, social tags and whether search engines are allowed to index the page.

  • Free
  • No sign-up
  • Redirect chain and HTTPS
  • Title, description and Open Graph
  • robots.txt and noindex checks

We fetch the URL from our server and show only what we read from it. URLs are not stored. Up to 15 checks a minute.

How it works

How to use the Link Analyzer

  1. Paste the link

Enter the URL you want to inspect — your own page, a short link or a competitor’s.

  2. Analyze it

We follow the redirects, read the final page’s head and check its robots.txt.

  3. Fix what is flagged

Each check is marked passed or needs attention, with what to change.

Link Analyzer: questions and answers

Something else? Ask us.

What does the link analyzer check?

The redirect chain and status codes, whether every hop uses HTTPS, the response time, the page title and meta description, canonical URL, language, H1, Open Graph and Twitter card tags, and indexability: the robots meta tag, the X-Robots-Tag header and the site’s robots.txt rules.

What does “indexable” mean?

A page is indexable when it answers 200 OK, robots.txt lets search engines crawl it, and neither a robots meta tag nor an X-Robots-Tag header says noindex. A canonical tag pointing elsewhere does not block indexing, but tells search engines to prefer the other URL.

Why is my response time higher than in my browser?

The time is measured from our server to yours for each hop, without a cached connection, so it includes DNS lookup, connection and TLS setup. It is a fair first-visit figure, not a full page-load time.

Does it run JavaScript?

No. It reads the HTML the server sends, as most social networks and many crawlers do. Tags added later by JavaScript are not seen.
