Integrations
Adobe Analytics
Record short-link clicks as custom link hits and conversions as purchase or success events in an Adobe Analytics report suite.
The Adobe Analytics integration sends every recorded Letlink click and every approved conversion to your report suite server-side, through Adobe's data collection image request. Nothing loads in the visitor's browser, so the hit arrives even when they block trackers. Available on Growth and Ultimate.
What you need
- Your tracking server, for example
example.sc.omtrdc.net— the same value astrackingServerin your AppMeasurement or Web SDK setup. - The report suite ID to send into. Separate several with commas to send to all of them.
- Optionally, custom success events (
event1toevent1000) to count clicks, leads and sign-ups. Enable them first under Admin → Report suites → Edit settings → Conversion → Success events.
Connect it to Letlink
- Open Integrations → Adobe Analytics. Owners and admins only.
- Enter the tracking server (hostname only, no
https://) and the report suite ID. - Optionally enter the click, lead and sign-up success events, then save.
- Press Send test event and check Real-time reports or the Experience Cloud debugger.
What we send
A GET to https://<tracking server>/b/ss/<report suite>/0 with the visitor ID (vid, the same device fingerprint the dashboard uses), the link name as pageName, the short URL as g and the referrer as r. The visitor's IP and user agent are forwarded in headers so Adobe can resolve geography and devices.
| Letlink event | Adobe hit |
|---|---|
| Click | Custom link (pe=lnk_o) named Link click: <short code>, plus your click success event when set |
| Sale | events=purchase, purchaseID (your order ID), products=;<short code>;1;<value> and the currency in cc |
| Lead | Your lead success event with products=;<short code> — skipped when no lead event is set |
| Sign-up | Your sign-up success event — skipped when no sign-up event is set |
| Custom | Not sent: map it to a lead or sign-up event instead |
Nothing is arriving — what should I check?
- If your report suite is timestamp-required, hits without a timestamp are dropped. Use a timestamp-optional or timestamp-disabled suite.
- Success events you name here must be enabled on the report suite, or Adobe ignores them.
- Adobe answers every image request with a 1×1 pixel, even when it discards the hit, so a successful test only proves the server is reachable. Confirm the hit in Real-time reports.
- Revenue uses the conversion's currency; if it differs from the report suite's base currency Adobe converts it.
