Retargeting pixels

Add Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, X and Reddit pixels to a link, so everyone who clicks can be retargeted.

Retargeting pixels let you build ad audiences from the people who click your links — even when the link points at a site you do not control, such as a marketplace listing or someone else's article.

Supported pixels

  • Meta Pixel — the numeric pixel ID from Events Manager.
  • Google Ads — your conversion ID, such as AW-123456789, optionally with /label.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — the partner ID.
  • Pinterest Tag — the tag ID.
  • TikTok Pixel — the pixel code.
  • X (Twitter) Pixel — the pixel ID.
  • Reddit Pixel — the pixel ID, such as a2_abcdefgh1234.

How they fire

When a link has pixels, the visitor gets a tiny hand-off page that loads each platform's official no-script beacon — an image request, no third-party JavaScript — and then forwards as soon as they answer, never later than 0.6 seconds. Only TikTok, which offers no image beacon, is loaded through its official script. Browsers without JavaScript are forwarded by a meta refresh. Links without pixels keep the plain, instant redirect.

Consent in the EU, the UK and Switzerland

Retargeting pixels need consent in the EU and EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. By default, visitors from those countries — and visitors whose country cannot be determined — get no pixels and go straight to the destination. If you collect consent yourself, for example because the link is only shared inside a consented flow, switch on I collect consent myself on the link.
