Slack
Paste a Slack incoming-webhook URL and every recorded click posts a Block Kit message with a clickable short URL plus Device, Variation and Referrer lines when present.
Click notifications
Letlink sends a chat message the moment someone opens one of your short links, so you hear about a click in the channel you already watch instead of checking a dashboard.
Short answer
Link click alerts are chat messages sent the moment someone opens one of your short links. Letlink posts one message per recorded click to Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat or Telegram, with the short link, browser, operating system, device, country, split-test variation and referrer when known, from the Solo plan at $3.90 a month. Bots are never counted, so crawlers do not set off an alert.
Features
Paste a Slack incoming-webhook URL and every recorded click posts a Block Kit message with a clickable short URL plus Device, Variation and Referrer lines when present.
Create a channel webhook through Workflows (Power Automate) or the Incoming Webhook connector and each click arrives as a card with an Open short link button.
A channel webhook receives an embed per click with the link name, context, variation, referrer and destination.
Add a webhook to a space and clicks post there as short messages with the short URL and device context. Webhooks work in spaces, not direct messages.
Create a bot with @BotFather, add it to a chat, group or channel, and give Letlink the token and chat ID. The token is stored write-only and never shown again.
Bots and preview crawlers are never counted, and visits turned away by a country rule or a per-device visit limit are not recorded — so none of them send an alert.
Chat alerts cover every link in the workspace. To alert on one link, on QR scans only or on one split-test variation, send clicks through Zapier, Make or n8n on Growth and filter there.
Press Send test event on Discord, Teams, Google Chat and Telegram to confirm the channel receives a message. If deliveries keep failing, the integration is paused, the page shows the last error, and it retries on its own.
Use cases
Put a dedicated short link in a proposal or quote and get a message when it is opened — with the device and country — so the follow-up call lands while the deal is fresh.
Watch the first clicks of a launch, newsletter or press release arrive in a team channel and see straight away if the link is getting traffic from the places you expected.
Use a tracked link to your portfolio in each application and see when it is opened — what clicked, not who.
A QR code on a stand or a poster that pings a channel on each scan, tagged as a qr variation.
Make a dedicated channel such as #link-clicks. A busy link posts on every click, so keep alerts out of a working channel.
In Slack add an incoming webhook, in Discord use Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks, in Teams use Workflows, in Google Chat use Apps & integrations → Webhooks, or create a Telegram bot with @BotFather.
Open Integrations → Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat or Telegram (owners and admins only), paste the URL or the bot token and chat ID, and save.
Press Send test event where it is offered, or open one of your short links in a browser, and check that the message arrives.

Mobile app
Create short links, watch clicks arrive live and design QR codes from your phone. Free on iPhone, iPad and Android.
Connect a chat app to Letlink: create an incoming webhook in Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams or Google Chat, or a Telegram bot, and paste it under Integrations. From then on every recorded click on a link in your workspace posts a message with the device, browser, country and referrer. Chat alerts are included from the Solo plan at $3.90 a month.
No. An alert tells you what clicked — browser, operating system, device type, country, referrer and split-test variation — not who. Letlink does not identify individual people. If you send one link to one person, you can infer the opener yourself.
Not from the chat integrations alone: they post for every recorded click on every link in the workspace. To alert on one link, on QR scans or on one variation, use Zapier, Make or n8n on Growth ($8.90 a month) with a filter on the short code, then post to your chat app from there.
No. Bots and crawlers are never recorded as clicks, so they never send an alert. With Block bots on — the default — preview fetchers from chat apps and social networks are also refused before reaching the destination.
Alerts stop until the next calendar month. Past the tracked-click allowance — 1,000 on Free, 10,000 on Solo, 100,000 on Growth — links keep redirecting, but no click is recorded, so nothing is sent. Ultimate has no monthly click cap.
No. Letlink sees clicks on links, not email opens. If a recipient opens your email but does not click the link, no alert is sent; once they click a Letlink short link in it, the alert arrives within seconds.
