Post versus first comment
Put one short link in the post and another in your first comment, pointing at the same page, and compare which placement your audience actually clicks.
Letlink gives B2B teams a short link on their own domain for every LinkedIn post, comment, message and ad, records each click, and on Growth reports those clicks to Campaign Manager through the LinkedIn Conversions API.
Short answer
A LinkedIn link tracker is a short link used in LinkedIn posts, comments, profiles, messages or ads that records each click before forwarding the visitor, so you can see which post or outreach message produced traffic. Letlink records every click with time, country, device and referrer, on your company domain from Solo ($3.90 a month). On Growth, at $8.90 a month for 5 people, the LinkedIn Conversions API integration reports each click to a conversion rule in Campaign Manager, with the li_fat_id when the click came from an ad.
Features
Put one short link in the post and another in your first comment, pointing at the same page, and compare which placement your audience actually clicks.
Use a separate short link per outreach sequence — or per prospect, within your plan’s link total — to see when and how often it is opened. Clicks from messages usually arrive with no referrer and count as Direct.
Links on go.yourcompany.com look like they come from you, not from a generic shortener. One CNAME record, SSL issued automatically, from Solo.
On Growth and Ultimate, every recorded click is reported to a conversion rule with Direct API as its data source, with the li_fat_id when the ad points straight at a short link. LinkedIn attributes only the events it can match, so expect fewer conversions than clicks.
LinkedIn fetches a link to build its preview. With Block bots on, the default, that crawler is refused and the post may show no card; turn Block bots off on Country access if you want one. Crawlers are never counted.
From Solo, post a message to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Google Chat on every recorded click, so sales hears about an opened link while the conversation is still warm.
Growth puts 5 people in one workspace, Ultimate 50, with everyone’s LinkedIn links and their numbers in one place.
Use cases
A link per post shows which topics move people to the website, and the busiest hour and weekday show when the audience reads.
A short link per prospect in InMail or connection messages shows the link was opened and when — not by whom, since forwarded links count too.
Job posts and recruiter messages with their own links show which ones send candidates to the careers page.
Ads that point at short links report clicks to Campaign Manager on Growth, measured on your side as well.
Event posts, speaker shares and reminder messages each with their own link show where registration traffic came from.
On Solo or above, create a CNAME record for a subdomain such as go.yourcompany.com pointing at custom.letl.ink and verify it from the dashboard.
In the link builder choose Link with UTM, set utm_source to linkedin and utm_medium to social, message or paid, and pick a readable short code.
Open Integrations → Slack or Microsoft Teams and connect a channel, so a message is posted whenever one of the links is clicked.
Open Integrations → LinkedIn Conversions API, paste the conversion rule ID and Direct API access token, and press Send test event.
Open each link’s stats page for clicks, countries, devices, Traffic channels and the busiest hour and weekday.

A LinkedIn link tracker is a short link used in posts, comments, messages or ads that records each click before forwarding the visitor. Letlink records time, country, device, browser and referrer for every click, free for 1,000 tracked clicks a month, and on your company domain from Solo at $3.90 a month.
Letlink shows what clicked, not who: it does not identify people. If you send each prospect their own short link, a click on that link tells you the link was opened and when, though a forwarded link counts the same. Each of those links counts toward your total — 3,000 on Solo, 8,000 on Growth.
Measure it rather than guess: put one short link in the post and another in the first comment, both pointing at the same page, and compare their clicks on the two stats pages. Repeat over several posts before drawing a conclusion.
LinkedIn builds preview cards by fetching the link with its crawler, and Letlink refuses crawlers by default with Block bots, on every plan. Turn Block bots off on Country access if you want the preview card; crawlers still never count as clicks.
On Growth ($8.90 a month) or Ultimate, create a conversion rule with Direct API as its data source, then paste its ID and an access token into Integrations → LinkedIn Conversions API. Every recorded click is sent with the visitor IP and, for ad clicks, the li_fat_id. These are click events, not leads or purchases, and LinkedIn only attributes those it can match.
Clicks from messages and from LinkedIn’s mobile apps often arrive without a referrer, and Letlink counts any click without one as Direct. A dedicated short link or utm_source=linkedin on each link keeps that traffic attributed to LinkedIn.
