Are the codes from the free QR code generator tracked?
No. The free generator at /free-qr-code-generator makes static QR codes: the content is written into the pattern, so nothing sits in between to count scans or change the destination. They never expire and scan an unlimited number of times. For tracking, create a free account and attach a QR code to a short link.
What are the limits of the free plan for QR codes?
3 QR codes at a time, 1,000 tracked clicks a month including scans, 7 days of history, and short links on letl.ink rather than your own domain. Past 1,000 clicks in a month the codes keep redirecting, but new scans are not recorded until the next month.
Do free tracked QR codes expire?
No. A free QR code keeps working for as long as its short link exists and is not archived and the code is not deleted. Only the scan history has a window: 7 days on the free plan.
When should I upgrade from the free plan?
Upgrade when you need more than 3 codes, more than 1,000 tracked clicks a month, more than a week of history, or your own domain inside the code. Solo covers all four at $3.90 a month: 200 QR codes, 10,000 clicks, 30 days of history and 1 custom domain. Yearly billing takes 20% off.
Can I add my logo to a free tracked QR code?
Yes. On every plan you can set the code and background colours and upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo under 2 MB. Letlink raises error correction automatically when a logo is added and refuses colour pairs with too little contrast to scan.
