Everything in Letlink

Link shortener features: everything Letlink does

Letlink shortens links, records every click in full and decides where each visitor goes. This page lists every feature, which plan it is on, and where to read more about it.

Short answer

Link shortener features are the tools around a short link: how it looks, what it records when someone clicks, and where it sends them. Letlink covers all three — custom back-halves and branded domains, analytics on every click, device routing, split tests across up to 8 destinations, trackable QR codes, country rules, expiring and password-protected links, conversion tracking with revenue per link and campaign, teams of up to 50 and 30 integrations. The free plan includes 1,000 links and 1,000 tracked clicks a month; paid plans start at $3.90 a month.

Features

What Letlink does

Short links and custom back-halves

Paste any public https:// URL and get a short link straight away. Leave the back-half random or type your own — letl.ink/spring — and change the destination later without changing the link.

Branded domains

Point a CNAME record at custom.letl.ink and short links run on go.yourbrand.com with SSL issued and renewed automatically. 1 domain on Solo, 3 on Growth, 50 on Ultimate.

Click analytics

Every click records time, country, device, brand and model, browser, operating system, referrer, UTM campaign and variation. Unique and returning visitors, traffic channels and hour-of-day patterns are worked out for you, on every plan.

Smart routing

One link sends iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to Google Play, splits iOS, Android and desktop destinations, separates phones from desktops, or opens an Instagram profile. Smart link types start on Solo.

Split testing

Spread traffic across 2 to 8 weighted destinations behind one short code and read each one’s received share against the share you set. Available on every plan, including Free.

Trackable QR codes

Generate a QR code from any link; scans are tagged as their own variation so print traffic stays separate. 3 on Free, 200 on Solo, 1,000 on Growth, unlimited on Ultimate.

Country access

Block listed countries or allow only listed ones, for the whole workspace or a single link, and send turned-away visitors to a fallback URL. From the Solo plan.

Bot blocking and visit limits

Block bots is on by default on every plan, so crawlers are refused and never counted. Per-device visit limits cap how often one device can open a link in an hour.

Teams, roles and 2FA

Share one workspace with owner, admin and member roles — 5 people on Growth, 50 on Ultimate — and turn on two-factor authentication on any account.

Integrations

Send clicks to GA4 and to Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat or Telegram from Solo. Growth adds Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and Reddit, Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, Plausible, Matomo, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, SendGrid, Mailchimp, Zapier, Make and Pipedream.

REST API and webhooks

Create links one at a time or in bulk, read analytics and visit feeds, and receive a JSON webhook on every recorded click. From the Growth plan.

AI assistants and mobile apps

Ultimate exposes an MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT and n8n can create links and read your data. Free apps for iPhone, iPad and Android create links and show clicks as they arrive.

Features: questions and answers

What features does Letlink have?

Letlink creates short links with custom back-halves on letl.ink or your own domain, records every click in full, routes visitors by device, runs split tests across up to 8 destinations, makes trackable QR codes, blocks or allows countries, and shares a workspace with a team. It also schedules, expires and password-protects links, attributes conversions and revenue to the click from Solo, and connects to 30 integrations including GA4, Slack, Meta, Segment, Mailchimp and Zapier, and offers a REST API, webhooks and an MCP server.

Which features are on the free plan?

The free plan includes Standard and UTM links, split tests, expiring and password-protected links, full click analytics with country, device, browser, referrer and UTM, CSV export, 3 QR codes, bot blocking and per-device visit limits. It covers 1,000 links and 1,000 tracked clicks a month with 7 days of history. Custom domains, smart routing, country rules and integrations need a paid plan.

Which plan do I need for a custom domain and device routing?

Solo, at $3.90 a month. It adds 1 custom domain, the App Store, Instagram, mobile and device-aware link types, country access rules, GA4 and chat notifications in Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and Telegram, with 10,000 tracked clicks a month and 30 days of history.

Which plan includes the API and webhooks?

Growth, at $8.90 a month, and Ultimate. Both include the REST API with bulk link creation and analytics endpoints, webhooks on every recorded click, Zapier, Make, Pipedream, the ad platform conversions APIs and the product analytics integrations. Ultimate adds n8n and the MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT.

Can I combine a split test with device routing?

No. Split tests work on Standard URL and Link with UTM links only; the smart link types (App Store, Instagram, mobile and device-aware) pick a destination by device and cannot carry weighted variations. Use two links if you need both.

Does Letlink have a mobile app?

Yes. The Letlink apps are free on iPhone, iPad and Android. They create short links, show clicks as they arrive and design QR codes, all in sync with the web dashboard, on every plan.

What does Letlink not do?

Letlink is not a website builder, a bio page or an ad network, and a normal link puts no interstitial page in front of your destination — only a link with a password or retargeting pixels shows a brief page first. It sees the click on a link, not what the visitor does on the page afterwards unless you report conversions back with the click ID, and it reports what clicked — location, device, referrer — not who clicked.
