A dedicated domain you own
Point a CNAME for a hostname on your own domain at custom.letl.ink. Your links resolve there, and no other business sends links on it.
US A2P messaging
US A2P 10DLC campaigns are vetted, and Twilio’s documentation says sample messages with public URL shorteners can be rejected. Letlink gives you short links on a dedicated domain you own, ready for your samples and your sends.
Short answer
For US A2P 10DLC messaging, Twilio’s documentation says public URL shorteners such as bit.ly or TinyURL in sample messages can get a campaign rejected, and recommends a dedicated, branded short domain that belongs to your business. Letlink runs short links on your own domain from Solo at $3.90 a month, records every tap by time, country and device, and from Growth at $8.90 creates links through the REST API, Zapier or Make for the messages you send with Twilio.
Features
Point a CNAME for a hostname on your own domain at custom.letl.ink. Your links resolve there, and no other business sends links on it.
Twilio asks for URLs that are secure and publicly accessible. Certificates for your domain are issued and renewed automatically once the CNAME resolves.
Create the links your campaign will use before you register it, so the sample messages contain working URLs on your branded domain that reviewers can open.
On Growth, call POST /api/v1/links from the same code that calls Twilio, or use the create-link action in Zapier or an HTTP module in Make, then put the returned short URL in the message body.
Taps are recorded with time, country, device and browser, and tagged with the UTM campaign, alongside every other channel you track.
Messages cannot be recalled. Edit the link’s destination and every text already delivered opens the new page.
Use cases
Set up the domain and the first links before registration, so the sample messages show the same URLs you will send.
Create a short link through the Letlink REST API, send it through Twilio’s API, and read taps back from the analytics endpoints or a webhook.
A Zapier or Make scenario that creates the Letlink link and passes it to a Twilio step, without writing code.
On Solo or above, create a CNAME for a hostname such as go.yourbrand.com pointing at custom.letl.ink and add it under Integrations → Custom Domain. Wait for verification and SSL.
Choose Create link, select your domain, paste the destination and set a short code. Open each link from a phone to confirm it resolves over HTTPS.
In the Twilio campaign registration, include those links in the sample messages and state that messages contain embedded links.
On Growth, create links through the REST API, Zapier or Make with your domain in the domain field, then send the message through Twilio.
Open each link’s stats page, or pull the numbers from the analytics endpoints. Text-message taps usually arrive without a referrer, so use UTM campaigns to tell sends apart.

Not a public one. Twilio’s documentation says public shorteners such as bit.ly or TinyURL in sample messages can lead to campaign rejection, and asks for a dedicated, branded short domain that belongs to your business. Letlink runs short links on your own domain from Solo at $3.90 a month.
No — use your own domain. letl.ink is shared by every Letlink account, which makes it a public shortener in the sense Twilio describes. Add a custom domain (1 on Solo, 3 on Growth) and create your SMS links on it.
Twilio asks for two to five sample messages and recommends including example links whenever your messages will contain them, so the links can be verified. Use the same branded domain you will send from, make sure each link opens over HTTPS, and point it at a page that clearly belongs to your business.
There is no built-in Twilio integration. Letlink works alongside it: on Growth at $8.90 a month you create links through the REST API, Zapier or Make and send them with Twilio, and read taps back by API or webhook.
Twilio offers link shortening on your own domain through Messaging Services, and for SMS-only sending that may be all you need. Letlink is useful when the same branded links also go out by email, on social and in print, and you want one place for their analytics, country access rules, device routing and chat alerts.
For small volumes, yes, through the REST API on Growth. Every link counts toward your plan total, so most senders use one link per campaign or segment with UTM tags rather than one per recipient.
