Paste, save, copy
Paste the destination into Create link and save. Leave the short code blank and Letlink picks a random back-half, so a working short link takes one field.
Short link generator
Letlink is a link generator that turns any long URL into a short link you can copy straight away — with your own back-half, campaign tags and a QR code if you want them — and records every click it gets from then on.
Short answer
A link generator turns a long URL into a short link you can copy and share straight away. Letlink generates one from a pasted URL with a random or custom back-half, optional UTM tags and a QR code, from the dashboard, the free iPhone, iPad and Android apps, or — on Growth at $8.90 a month — the REST API, with up to 50 links in one request. The free plan holds 1,000 links and tracks 1,000 clicks a month, with no card.
Features
Paste the destination into Create link and save. Leave the short code blank and Letlink picks a random back-half, so a working short link takes one field.
Type a short code of letters, numbers and hyphens — letl.ink/spring, letl.ink/demo — so the link reads well aloud and in print. Product paths such as login and pricing are reserved, and offensive or impersonation-style codes are refused.
Choose Link with UTM and fill in source, medium and campaign. Values are saved in lowercase with spaces turned into underscores, so “Spring Sale” and “spring sale” report as one campaign.
Generate a QR code from the link’s page and download it as a PNG. Scans are tagged qr, so printed traffic is counted apart from ordinary clicks without a second short code.
The free Letlink apps for iPhone, iPad and Android create short links and QR codes and show clicks as they arrive, in sync with the dashboard.
On Growth and Ultimate, POST /api/v1/links/bulk creates up to 50 links in one request. Each row is attempted on its own, so one bad URL is reported by index instead of discarding the batch. Every row counts toward your plan’s link total.
Zapier’s create-link action and a Make HTTP module turn a form entry, CRM record or spreadsheet row into a short link on Growth and Ultimate, and hand the new URL to the next step.
Edit the destination at any time while the short link stays the same. Letlink redirects with a temporary (302) status, so browsers do not cache the old address.
Use cases
Paste, copy and share in under a minute, then come back later to see which country, device and referrer the clicks came from.
Send a product catalogue or a set of event pages through the bulk endpoint and get a short link back for every row that passed.
Let a new row in a spreadsheet or a new deal in a CRM generate its own short link through Zapier or Make, with no one copying and pasting.
Generate the link and its QR code together, print the code, and point the link somewhere new if the page changes after the print run.
Sign up free — no card — and open Create link from the dashboard, or tap the create button in the mobile app.
Choose Standard URL, or Link with UTM if you want campaign tags, and paste the public https:// address you want people to reach.
Type your own short code, or leave it blank for a random one. Add a title if you want to find the link easily in your dashboard; visitors never see it.
Save, copy the short URL, and open it in a private window to check it lands where you expect. Generate a QR code from the link’s page if you need one for print.

A link generator is a tool that turns a long web address into a short link you can copy and share. Letlink’s generator also lets you choose the back-half, add UTM tags and create a QR code, and it records every click on the link afterwards. The free plan covers 1,000 links and 1,000 tracked clicks a month.
Yes. The free plan needs no credit card and has no trial clock: 1,000 links, 1,000 tracked clicks a month, 3 QR codes and 7 days of click history. Paid plans start at $3.90 a month for 3,000 links, 10,000 tracked clicks a month and a custom domain.
Yes. Type any free short code of letters, numbers and hyphens, such as spring, and the link becomes letl.ink/spring — or go.yourbrand.com/spring on a custom domain from the Solo plan. Codes that collide with product paths are reserved, and offensive or impersonation-style codes are rejected by content safety checks.
Yes, through the REST API on Growth ($8.90 a month) and Ultimate. POST /api/v1/links/bulk accepts up to 50 links per request, creates every valid row and reports each failure by its position in the batch. Zapier and Make can also generate links one at a time from other apps. Every row counts toward your plan’s link total.
Each plan caps how many active links you keep: 1,000 on Free, 3,000 on Solo, 8,000 on Growth and 15,000 on Ultimate. Archiving or deleting a link frees a slot. There is no daily creation limit on any plan.
Only if you want them to. Every plan can give a link a start date, an expiry date or a click limit, with a fallback URL for visitors who arrive afterwards. Otherwise a short link keeps redirecting until you archive or delete it, and it keeps redirecting even when the workspace is past its monthly tracked-click allowance — Letlink simply stops recording new clicks until the next calendar month.
Yes. The free QR code generator at letl.ink/free-qr-code-generator makes a code for any URL with no sign-up. A code generated from a Letlink link inside an account adds scan tracking: each scan is recorded with its country, device and time and tagged qr.
